It used to be it would delete items placed with the move objects cheat. As recently as last year, they changed it so that it just warns the player some items were placed with the move objects cheat, and does not delete them. I have not had any issues, but then I use that cheat when I build to place some objects like you…
@LatinaBunny It is about how in-your-face this has become. I don't take seriously the types who feel the need to list pronouns. That is my first clue to that I have no need to engage in any conversation or interactions. Experiences and observations have shown those types to be hostile if someone does not agree with them…
That is not what I said. I said it does not leave a positive impression when I view it, no matter who. One reason I only made it to question 2 in the interview linked in one of the pronoun threads was because it was repeated with every response even though the same 2 people were listed. That was a too in-your-face…
The only thing that bothers me is you can't train the dogs to go into a designated area of the yard. You can train that with IRL dogs. I know because we did with my pet dogs growing up.
This concentration on pronouns for in-game or IRL just gives me a VERY NEGATIVE impression about the those people who display them. My hope was that it is not so in-your-face, but being where the name selection is in CAS just is too in-your-face.
@crocobaura Don't really like Madonna either, so a male looking like that just means bad impression all around. Not getting a positive impression of the last few CAS focused kits.
If you wait long enough all packs eventually go down in price. I have NEVER bought anything Sims 4 related at full price. I got stuff packs for between $2.50 to $5, got game packs for $10 to $15, and the expansion packs for $20 to $30. Heck even the base game was only $35 when I bought it. The kits I have were gifted to me…
Not even going Google who in the world this person they partnered with. I am so beyond bored of this. What audience is this geared toward? It is just another CAS kit. Waiting for an exciting gameplay focused kit or actual fixes to some of the bugged gameplay features already in the game.
I am one of the types of consumers who refuses to buy any type of product at launch. I research it and wait until the price is discounted to an acceptable level or the product is a couple years old. So while I am wanting a new pack, it has to have significant gameplay features. The kits are just fluff without gameplay. My…
Personally, I love birds. I have parakeets and am just saddened that we do not have that as a optional type of pet for our sims. I can't even make my sim family because it includes my pet birds.
That interview is not a pleasant read. I stopped when the "preferred pronouns" were included under every response, as I personally don't view that as professional. I see it as another twitter trend. As it is, this will be a feature I never touch or use as they intend. I will just hope that not doing anything will keep the…
I notice the "incusivity" is mostly twitter crowd trends. This game WILL NOT age well due in part to that alone. There are also some things I want included that I will never be and it is due to the reactions I have experienced via Twitter and sometimes here.
To do that, baking would have to be given away as a BG skill. Since it is a gameplay feature to an expansion pack, I would not view that move too positively.
Just noticing this thread again. Knowing that I played the franchise starting with the first iteration as an adult, just makes me feel old and out of touch with the new simmers.
There is too many that I will never use. I am not into the cultural dishes being added. I do need more that are more geared to my culture in the American Midwest. There really isn't anything like that, even when I tried researching mods to accomplish that.
It has become a pretty backdrop with lackluster gameplay. It is sad when I see much better or more significant gameplay in the older iterations. I also personally do not see Sims 4 aging well, because it is trying to be trendy.
@arleta I predict it has to do with how you play. Personally, I find emotional deaths are difficult to achieve. But, I also do not play in a way for my sims to be playful or angry unless I want the death.
The "rewards" were like 5000 satisfaction points. You know the same points you can earn from doing the aspirations or whims (if those are turned on). So really there was no reward.
To start every save, I at least make 3 to 5 sims. It depends on my goal, but usually I have parents and kids. I choose one of the kids to be my main heir and just control them. I then play until I feel like changing who will be the next main sim to focus on. Played multiple generations that way in one save. Just have 1 sim…
@CAPTAIN_NXR7 So you are proving my point. There is ZERO need for a shorter height. You just have to actually edit the teens that are created. That is a simple yet, tedious task to some. Personally, I only edit the sims my own sim interact with. Most times that just is a clothing fix, because I like variety. Not all sims…
Completed it. Not very positive feedback because I saw no "challenge" in any scenario and the rewards were not satisfactory. I get more out of fan made challenges.
I find all the phone calls as intrusive, no matter what they are for. It may be because that is a game feature tied to too many aspects of the game. I also play one single household for multiple generations, so my families end up knowing lots of people that as of now are considered "neighbors" for the neighborhood stories.…
I will just have to watch for "actual gameplay" in the trailers they release for any content. Only started playing Sims 4 in very end of 2016. I have not seen any actual "gameplay" in their gameplay trailers, like ever. All I see is a bunch of walking, cinematic staged events, and a pretty backdrop. Using a phone, tablet,…
