I wasn't able to watch, but I was following this thread. Did they say anything much about Project Rene? I'm worried about multiplayer and online features, if there's any. Free babies? Not something I was fussed about, but I'm happy for those who wanted that :D
I gave in and repaired/patched my game last night. I also saw the "new Origin update" message but LOL NO. I can play my game offline again now (albeit with the bug-ridden patch), I'm not risking that again with another Origin update. Hey, Sims team/Origin team, if you want us to stop trusting your software and be even more…
Yup. I've tried both via the Origin interface, and also using the TS4 .exe shortcut on my desktop. Never had this problem before - I pretty much always have my Origin offline, so I can wait until mods etc. are updated before patching my game.
This happened to me, and now I can't launch my game while in Offline mode at all. I'm furious if this is an attempt at forced patches. I don't want to download broken patches, I just want to play the game that I paid for, how and when I like.
It all looks very American. Prom sounds a bit too much - I'd be fine with just picking an outfit and sending them off into a rabbit hole style event. My main concern is that I like schools being a rabbit hole. I have no interest in actually playing their classes (like in Sims 3 Uni, I think it was?). The only time I ever…
Yes, on sale, as long as I can keep school a rabbit hole. I don't want to follow my Sims to school, just as I don't wanna follow them to work, but the other stuff sounds interesting.
I really miss story progression from TS3, so I very much like the sound of this. I wanna see my unplayed families changing and developing. Great to see that it's being done in a way where players can choose not to make use of it if they don't want to. I just hope it doesn't turn out like the Eco Living NAPs, which were...…
Firstly, I would just like to point out that singular 'they' in English has been traced back to 1375 (in writing - it may have been around in speech even longer) :) Anyway, personally this is not something I feel I need in my game, but I know there are players who've been wanting it so I'm happy for them. Inclusivity is…
Time-limited content? I can't see myself having much time to play over the next couple of weeks. At least I won't be missing out on any exclusive rewards.
88%. You'd think I might have scored higher growing up in a rural area surrounded by fields and farmland, ah well XD I'm in the UK. Thanks for doing this giveaway :)
Oh no @GalacticGal, that's not good :( Patching always feels risky to me when you rely on mods. I usually have Origin permanently offline (unless I specifically need the gallery) to avoid any surprise patches, so I can wait until all the mods I use are updated. I hope you get your game fixed soon. Healthcare Redux: There…
Thanks all, really helpful :) I don't like having to attend appointments with my sims (I much prefer rabbitholes), so I switched out Private Practice and at the moment am just using Nies Cooler Sickness Mod. But I think I'll give Healthcare Redux a go. .
I tried to do that with Slice of Life but I couldn't get rid of all the things I disliked, so I gave up and just yanked the full mod out! Private Practice looks really good and in-depth, so I think I might give that a go. Thank you :)
I miss worlds the size of Windenburg. I love Forgotten Hollow and Glimmerbrook, but I can't stand how few lots they have. This is why we desperately need Create-A-World - so players can create worlds of different sizes. I really miss being able to place lots like in TS3 too, that was great as it allowed players creativity…
In my occult save, he married Venessa Jeong and they have 3 children. He's a really good dad. He also likes spending time with his nephew and niece (twins, the result of a failed marriage between Lilith and Akira Kibo). I have no idea what he's up to in my other saves. Just hanging around community lots and being ignored,…
Country is too American, and Celtic is quite niche. I don't listen to the radio much (I live in the UK), but whenever I do, it's all pop or 'oldies' (aka classic rock or pop from the 60s onwards). Maybe some grime? But that wouldn't fit with the country theme at all... Now I'm gonna be super disappointed when that doesn't…
Caleb Vatore came to welcome my Sim to the neighbourhood. He had a sponge bath in the sink, and spent the rest of the time walking around naked. Bit inappropriate really.
I think 3 is my max in a legacy attempt. I want to try again, but I get easily distracted and I don't think I vary my legacy generations enough so it ends up feeling repetitive. I haven't achieved 10 generations since Sims 2...!
For underrated, I'd say Forgotten Hollow. The tiny amount of lot space really works against it, but it's a beautiful, atmospheric world. I love it and would give my left arm for it to be made bigger. Brindleton Bay is underrated because of weather complaints but it's probably my favourite world so far. I could happily live…
I wish this was a midnight release. But not long now! I'm so excited, I can't remember the last time I was this hyped for a Sims pack. (And I'm extra hyped because I won a code giveaway for it, yaaay!). I was supposed to attend a reading group tonight but I'm skipping it so I can play instead. XD
Zero has updated 'Seasons Reactions and Run Inside' and 'Immersive Vampires', and reports all other mods are fine (source: https://www.patreon.com/posts/patch-pc-1-70-84-46505776 ).
