Don't think I ever noticed them doing that and my sims family is a family of 5 currently. They all seem to do as asked. Maybe once or twice it was delayed, but that was mom and day trying to interact with their kids who was on a different story and coming towards them. I just deleted it and re did it and worked fine.

I haven't noticed it be overly dark. I am doing an off the grid farm so I am using candles, so that makes sense for me. Otherwise, outside is pretty normal for the weather. Went from Summer to Autumn heading into winter.

I am not having any issues with gardening. I have cottage living and seasons and it hasn't affected the plants growth. Oversized crops outside and the rest are sheltered.

The OP just says they have something, but seems to be disregarding others who also say they are disabled and don't want this. The Sims is escape not a real life simulation.

Are you actually for real? Those aren't symptoms of a disability. Anyone can be over emotional, it's not tied to one set of circumstances. Same goes with obsessions, it's not tied down either. I don't get what the traits above and obsessions to skills has to do with Disabilities. Anyone can have an obsession and anyone can be absent minded, over emotional or inappropriate. I like doing a mix. I've done some that were ultra modern like Llama Core, and then I've done some that were just low budget homes. It honestly just depends on what world I am in and what I want to do. I never had a build in mind when I start, and then I winged it.

While the pool house itself would be on a foundation you could do a sunken room within the building.
