The number of bugs gives off the appearance that the packs may be rushed and granted a bug or two can be overlooked during whatever amount of QA is done before releasing the pack. For me it comes down to not releasing a product until it is really ready for release as they move forward with the packs it may take longer to…
Inflation having an effect on how much items is made in a pack to me is an excuse for a series that supposedly is a cash cow. I think other reasons may be at play in why there is lesser items in a pack.
Not going to hurt me much and all I can do is see what it can do and not do. :) One exception is how I can input my own avatar and not one I will be forced to use made by EA/Maxis.
Looks like this pack looks and sounds great on paper but in real time for some it has become a nightmare and barely any response from EA/Maxis (Must be concentrating on Project Rene) I did get the pack but will not use it until EA/Maxis takes care of those bugs as I do not want to experience any problems.
True, but when those negatives build up it can be big deal for the developer and for me it is what the update contains and what is its targets meaning what is added and what it fixes( I am more into fixes than additions) Addition is fine but what is the use of adding additions when the pack/or packs is still broken. People…
Posts even if negative is still considered feedback but if they are fine for you than that is great for you but because they work for you which may fine, but it may not be working for others. Updates even if put out may not necessarily fix a game problem looking at how long a patch is made. When you have a base game that…
I myself think a SP with a Medieval theme in mind would been better as it may offer more choices than a kit. :) Expanding on my post I will not be surprised to see EA/Maxis do this.
I brought it as well but luckily I did not play it as I saw the reports coming in on the problems was developing whether you used the cheats are not and this pack was released during the holidays which for me was a mistake being everybody was working on a holiday schedule.
On that I agree, and the pack should have been released when the staff was back after the holidays and I can say this looking at their track record, would it have really mattered even if it was not a holiday season, patches was always slow or not to be seen and I am being honest here. I did buy the pack but will not…
Sadly, this will always be the case as they release packs without fixing what was wrong with the last pack and it this will continue. They may fear if they spend time fixing what is wrong with the program, it will interfere with their profits as they may be on a timeline.
They scrapped whatever features Sims 3 that could have been applied to Sims 4 and when they tried to implement some of those features in Sims 4 it was a watered-down version and why I do not buy into their budget constraints as said they may pull in more than a billion and none of us has access to their Excel spreadsheet…
No, but some apts even if not many, the rent may be a little higher if it is furnished than those that has no furniture other than a fridge and stove. Most apts where I come from (New York, New Jersey) they are not furnished other than the basic necessities.
All in all the pack has some complexities and I am okay with that as I like a little challenge and out of all the packs, I do like this one and Ea/Maxis has to tweak it here and there, those guides Simgirl1010 is posting will come in handy. :)
Oh man, I feel this is turning from a good thing to a nightmare from what I am reading, I haven't played it yet and if the negatives outweigh the positives I should have waited but got pulled in with the option to build apartments. It is my fault to think EA/Maxis can do something right and it is the opposite. I will play…
I agree as you will soon run out of ideas as most of the settings are static being you can't add to the world addition lots or even edit them besides other than altering the traits of the lots and I like that but that is not enough for me. however, out of all the packs I dig this the most as I can make Apts, but it should…
