This happens to me with a lot of games. What I do is take a break and either play something else or do something that isn’t playing games like I’ll read a book or start a craft project. Then I’ll eventually want to play the game again.

I voted star wars because it’s the only pack I will never buy. I didn’t get the sims 4 until a couple years after release. When I did buy it though, I loved the base game. I happily played it for months without wanting any packs, I only bought a couple when they went on sale.
I don’t like the camera controls either. It takes forever for me to get the camera at an angle that I like. Then when I switch to view the map and then go back to my sim, the camera is all messed up again.
No because we can't control them or turn off their autonomy. I'm an animal lover in real life, so I'm still upset about the decision to make pets uncontrollable because it means I can never add them to my households. I tried it once and it just doesn't work with my play style.
