There are always people who blame a lack of QA testing after a release, but I have my doubts as to whether or not that's the issue. The purpose of QA testing is to make the team aware of bugs, however we have seen from experience that even when they're aware of bugs they often don't fix them, for whatever reason. No amount…
someone could technically do all these things of their own volition though, right? like, if I wanted a "bad" child to get a random trait, I could just randomize their trait as they aged up. If I wanted them to do poorly at work, I could just have them slack off at work. I'm not really a fan of these sorts of things being…
oh that's too bad I'm not too sure it would have worked anyway though, even before the patch. The only ways to get it to occur previously that I know of were through cheats or births
back in my day (lol) the cool thing to hate on was Basic B's I see times have changed and it is now the VSCO girl but i also see times haven't changed in the sense that everyone still thinks they're vastly different from whatever stereotype of their generation they're trying to hate on
it was never an intentional feature to begin with, and it was extraordinarily buggy whenever it'd happen. on a side note, did it really take you 20 hours just to develop a friendship with vlad? :o
repairing the game isn't gonna do anything to your mods, but the first step to take whenever you're having an issue is to remove your mods, even if you don't think they're causing the problem. Nobody can really help you troubleshoot this until we are all 100% sure that mods are not the cause of the issue.
I mean, I don't care if it takes from my pool of homeless sims and makes them bartenders or waiters, but spellcasters? I already got around this by disallowing any sims apart from the sages from going to the magic realm though, so I'm satisfied.
I just want to point out that it's not quite the same thing to execute open world in those sorts of games as it is in a game like The Sims, because of how these games prioritize GPU and CPU usage. The Sims already being a CPU intensive game by nature, begins to struggle much more when you add an open world to it. That's…
Nah, the concept is just way too ridiculous to me, and not even in a way that makes me smile or something like that. I wouldn't even want to see them overhauled for free. I'd rather that effort go into some other kind of occult, if anything.
the game is a bit relentless with NPC's in that it will force skill levels or generate new ones with the required skill levels whenever it feels necessary. But it isn't supposed to take sims with existing careers or homes and use them for this; that's probably either a bug or mod behavior.
oh that's too bad your best bet might be to remove your mods, repair your game, clean your cache, and test if it's happening in a new save or if the old one is just corrupted somehow. There isn't much more assistance I can offer you without asking many of the same pointless, annoying questions that you don't feel like…
you can, just exit out when it asks to move them into a household but I think it only works if you start out from CAS, it won't work if the family is being imported at the map screen
"Not currently in world" doesn't mean they literally won't show up in the game, it just means they don't have a home. These sims will still show up in your game walking through neighborhoods, visiting lots, and working npc jobs. You don't have to give them houses in order to be able to interact with them.
They'll usually gain weight anyway just because their hunger need is decreasing a lot faster during the pregnancy. The reason why people notice it to a different extent in each sim is based on what they're eating and how active they are. This seems rather realistic as is, in my opinion.
The trailers play 0% of the part in my decision of whether or not to buy the pack so they don't really feel like advertisements to me. I thought it was a cute little overview of what sorts of things to generally expect. It didn't excite me, because it's not a pack that I care for. But that's pretty much all I thought about…
Here are some monitors I found that at least appear to be very good. I recommend doing some research before purchasing any of them though, because there are plenty of good review videos for most of these monitors. 27 inch option, VA Panel:…
See, that's interesting because I actually have sort of the opposite opinion. I know Parenthood is one of the more well-received packs, but I don't feel like it added a ton of "new" content to the game. I think the main strength of that pack is that it manages to add meaning or purpose to many of the game's existing…
On paper, I don't think Game packs are any better of a deal than Expansion packs are. They might even be a bit worse in terms of value for content. What makes them feel like a better deal is the fact that the content is more centralized. As in you are less likely to end up paying for features which don't interest you, and…
The same way people were "screeching" for occult gameplay right before that I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ in the end, no one is really doing any better or worse than anyone else. Everybody's loud and annoying, not just the University crowd in particular.
