Honestly thought I'd be much more active in the Sims 4 community than I have been with the communities in the past. I guess I'm just not that much of a social player.
I love the community icon for this so much that I turned it into a keyring. It's made from polymer clay and painted with acrylics, then sealed with UV resin.
I wouldn't think so. The game would have no reason to think you would want to do anything about saving them if you never even encountered them. I can't say 100% though since I've never checked.
Q1: Perhaps knitters could have the option to sell their creations to a world famous design house which could raise fame if their designs were accepted. Q2: I can honestly say I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference so one animation for all is fine by me. Q3: I can't see knitting at a desk really working. Surely…
The Lot Trait to prevent burglaries could be called "Neighbourhood Watch". I don't know if that term is a UK specific thing or not but moreso when I was a kid, houses would put these little Neighbourhood Watch stickers in their windows or on their doors to let potential thieves know that the neighbours watched out for each…
What would I like my Sims to knit? Blankets, obviously. My grandma taught me to knit when I was a kid and a blanket was the first thing I attempted. I would knit lots of little squares and then sew them all together. It would be neat if they were functional in some way but I guess hanging them on a wall would be fine.…
It sounds like there is an issue with the weights between the Sim's ankles. This is normally CC specific when the creator hasn't assigned them correctly. It shouldn't be affecting EVERYTHING that is CC.
icemunmun has recently released a mod so that if you own Outdoor Retreat you can use the RoM couldron to brew Herbology potions in it as well. There's also one on modthesims but I've forgotten who by, that increases the ingredients needed to craft potions and makes it so that you don't get a free sample of the really…
@SimGuruTwoLegs I appear to have created a package using the tuning method that has allowed me to move the animation position back from my cooler object but have now been left with the issue that the pouring water VFX will not play. I don't know enough about how tuning works to know what I have broken or where. It also…
Thanks for your response. It's not what I was hoping to hear since I have zero experience with Sims 4 animations and only minimal experience with tuning but at least I now know that it is possible. I am using the existing get water animation as I simply cloned a sink and then edited the object tuning to remove the majority…
There's a tutorial that explains all about it on the Studio forums. http://sims4studio.com/thread/2544/get-emission-map?page=1 You can skip section A about adding them to your package since that can just be done from the Textures tab now. The following sections on how to create them are the bits that you will need to read.…
Kind of but that one advances to Stressed which isn't really the same thing. EA just used it to cover both bases. I really wish they had included Fear. I also now want to go and track down where that robot dog CC is from.
The Culpepper apartment building has missing windows and a door. If you play the affected apartment then they are there, but if you play any of the other apartments in the building they are missing.
@Raze99 You could use Sims 4 Studio for that. Open Studio and on the very first page (after entering a creator name if you haven't already) go to the toolbar at the top and select Tools > Create Empty Package. Give the file a name when prompted and then you should be presented with an empty Warehouse view of Studio. Now go…
Check the CAS tags to see if they are tagged as uniform parts. You need to go into Studio's Warehouse view to do this one. Click on a CAS Part and find the Tags entry on the right. Click the Edit Items... button and see if there are any uniform tags in there. Remove them if there are and save. You may also want to see if…
I would suggest looking at the Sims 4 Mod Constructor by zerbu if you want to work with buffs (moodlets) for a start. There is probably a way to tell the game to trigger the pregnancy morph when your Stuffed moodlet is present. Perhaps try looking at how the exisiting preganancy buffs work.
Okay, so first of all I discovered I wasn't seeing any changes I was making to existing modifiers already in the tuning because of a mod conflict. I've sorted that and I can make changes to the tuning that work in game BUT it won't make use of custom modifiers added to the list. So either the game isn't seeing them or I'm…
Wow! What a surprise. Thanks for the congratulations everyone. As I already have all the Stuff Packs though and was just entering for fun, I have asked EA_Mai if she can pick somebody else in my place instead.
I just have a well organised Mods folder set up into specific folders for different types of content. Also, reading the filenames tends to help if I want to doublecheck for a file. I'll open it with S4s to make sure it's the right thing first.
WhosAsking uploaded a mod yesterday on ModTheSims that makes all appliances already have all upgrades from the moment you purchase them. http://bootstrap.modthesims.info/d/621902/already-upgraded.html
