    New patch not working?

    I've installed the new patch but when I launch sims 3 none of the new features are there. I dont have LN btw, this is just the patch

      No you don't, because its for people who don't want to buy LN and people have said on these forums that they have installed it without LN and it works

      No you don't need late night for the patch to work :) Do you have any cc or mods? if you do that might be the reason it's not working. hope this helps a bit :)

      No, I don't have any. :( guess I'll have to wait until next week when I get LN

      Try deleting your Cache Files.

      Per Nichaedemus:
      The following cache files can be found in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3:

      CASPartCache.package
      CompositorCache.package
      ScriptCache.package
      SimCompositorCache.package

      Deleting them should force the game to reload the most current graphics and script data in a pristine state. It is perfectly safe to delete the cache files as the game will automatically regenerate them each time.
