    Nanny Bug?

    So, I've discovered yet another glitch. May not be new to most, but new to me lol...So, My sim has a baby, and I age her up to toddler. I hire a nanny service and things are fine...Then I get the idea to give the nanny a gender change...So, I go to the sim editor and change him to a her legit, no cheats used. So I return to the household, and nothing was up...until I started to notice, the Nanny wouldn't go home, like she was there 24/7...and the next day a 2nd nanny shows up. So I had 2 Nannies...and both were identified as nannies. It said on the pop up bubble written in red letters...So I fire the new Nanny. that seemed to work...a few days later, which happens to be tonight, I play again, and now I have 3 Nannies...I'm like wth lol...the 3 of them were all sitting on the couch watching TV not caring for my one toddler. I guess it takes a team of Nannies to get the job done.

      I'd fire them and start from scratch.

      I remember the one time I hired a nanny and wanted a female. The first nanny was a male so I immediately fired him. Hired another and ended up with a female.

      I've had nanny's get stuck before and I can't remember if it was because I edited them. I most certainly edit sims I have to look at long term like Butlers.

      I haven't used Nannies in quite some time. I didn't like the fact the male Nanny kept calling my Sims' Child to come over to his house. :open_mouth: However, I believe you have to dismiss the Nanny at the end of the day, so that they can be paid for their work. As for others arriving non-stop, the only time I had that happen was with Butlers. The live-in would take a day or two off from work, and would be replaced for those days off by another Butler.
