Thanks for letting us know that as I have some of his stuff but not in order so i rectified that today while i still can Also thanks for explaining about that https://href.li/? situation in front of links because that was driving me nuts and I had no idea I could simply remove some of the text from the weblink and my downloads would start-)
Also does anyone know if the https://club-crimsyn.dreamwidth.org/ website will be closing down as well as the links are still working for that site so far (checked today) as there is a lot of crossover between both sites?
Geez, Lana CC Finds goes and now this... (And truth be told I didn't even know about this site. )
@Nikkei_Simmer It doesn't even give me the chance to view the link long enough to delete that https://href.li/? thing. I hit Download on whatever I want to download and it says "Not Found" and within a second takes me to the tumblr home page.
There's a reason I don't like tumblr.
EDIT: Okay, that only happened on one link I clicked on. The others are fine and I can delete the href thing. Carry on.
I never realized Lana cc had closed down so I headed off to take a look and despite most of it being on the wayback machine i can see the lists of the CC but when i click into something there are no download links so i am wondering if I am personally doing something wrong and something needs tweaking on the site to make it work? Before giving up I thought it best to check with players more knowledgeable than me with this stuff as I am sure in the distant past i have managed to download cc from this site.
I am not sure when the site went down but I cannot download any CC as of today but bear in mind I could be doing something wrong as I have never had much success using the way back when website-)
AG also posted a lot of content exclusive to the Garden of Shadows in various Advent Calendar/Secret Santa/theme of the month/etc. events that I'm pretty sure was also hosted via Club Crimsyn. I'll do a deep dive there too.
@Nikkei_Simmer Is there a timer on sites like Tumblr as to why people are always closing down their resources? Is there some form of requirement when you own something like a blog or whatever? Anyone can really answer.
Edit: I just looked after typing this 😳. Does that apply for sites that automatically download the content (probably doesn't)?
I have no idea. As far as time-limits. I don't think there is. It's just that things outside of Sims have probably affected that particular sims cc creator's decision to take everything down. I believe the creator has given such an explanation on their site.
Always "River McIrish" ...and maybe some Bebe Hart. ~innocent expression~
@Nikkei_Simmer Yeah, I read. I just can't see myself (if I ever was a creator) throwaway content that I've worked my butt off for outside of the virtual world (not that they wanted to). I don't know, I just like keeping a history of things. I don't like things to be a burden. 🤷🏾♀️.
And, yeah, I have been distant like that around the time while I was at college (couldn't believe it), but still.
@hellokitty1496 Frankly, I would.
I used to mod TES IV Oblivion in 2010 and I still have a couple of mods online. Sometimes, I wish I could delete them so that people would stop sending messages complaining about bugs. I haven't yet, though. I also consider giving their rights to another person and forget about them.

Links to the CC seem broken already.

You'll see that it's like this: (for example) https://href.li/http://www.clubcrimsyn.com/ts3/aikea/hair/psychobillydreads/psychobillydreads.rar
What you do is highlight the
https://href.li/? - all the way to the ? mark leaving only the following:
http://www.clubcrimsyn.com/ts3/aikea/hair/psychobillydreads/psychobillydreads.rar
And delete it (the https://href.li/?) ...then hit return... it should start automatically downloading.
