    Blotchy Skin

    Is it just me or are the skin tones still really blotchy? I was really impressed when I saw the new skin tones in CAS, but in live mode they are still a mess! Really blotchy and a lot of discolouration in some cases. I'm on xbox btw.

      You're not alone. I've noticed blotchiness too
      And also my sims had a baby boy. The mom has light skin and the dad dark skin but both their skin tones are considered warm. However their baby came out white as a ghost with what's considered a neutral skin tone. So it looks like the new skin tone system isn't good at generating in between skin tones.

      Good news is that they already know about the genetics problem and they are investigating. But yeah I definitely noticed the blotchiness on my Sims.

      I don't feel like there's any improvement (or very little improvement) in live mode at all. It's actually worse with some of the skin tones. Looks amazing in CAS, but since most of us spend more time in live mode it isn't really an improvement if it still looks crusty during actual gameplay lol :/

      Yeah I've noticed that as well. The skin still looks blotchy. I feel like it's also worse but it could just be me being dramatic.

      I wonder if simmers who obtained the ps5 and the next xbox has blotchy problems as well. I have the pro with boost mode on.

      I don't think you're being dramatic.
      I'm not expecting it to look as crisp as it does on PC, and I'm glad there's so many options with skin tones now, but some improvement to the blotchiness in live mode would have been nice.

      @Khrisstyne I play on my partners PS5, but we dont have an up-to-date television and I can confirm that there is still blotchyness.
