Freelance Career - so still no fix?

Hi
Anyone knows if EA are still working on a fix to the Freelance Career? Or can we add it to the list of bugs, that will never be fixed!
Sorry that was maybe a little too aggressive. I blame COVID-19.

There was a SimGuru (half) promising to include in future patch notes what bugs are being worked on. The post was made on this forum:

Despite having two forums already for the games, the SimGurus hang out on twitter for some reason EA or their representatives have not clarified.
A suggestion is to remind them there as well, for the coming patch (Snowy Escape).

alas, it doesnt work, my sim chose art as freelance career, and cant finish the assignment on the digital canvas, the digital canvas is droped to the floor just before the painting is done - though my sim did pay 300S for commiting to it - three times! 😂
I haven't tried out any of the other Freelance careers however.
