Here's an article I used a while back to help me decide on trusting CDkeys: https://thelegality.com/reviews/is-cdkeys-legit/

They have some interesting details on how it works and what their recommendations are.

What are peoples plans for purchasing the new expansion pack?

I do want to purchase through CDKeys as the price is significantly cheaper but I don’t know if I’m still too scared, idk why I’ve been so put off the idea when I have bought numerous packs from them..

I'm getting it through Origin - the cdkeys price is just $5 less.

There are some retail stores like Walmart, Target, and Amazon that sell the Sims games too. Harder to find the Sims 1 and Sims 2 games other than from Goodwill or Ebay.
