    Teens - from bad to terrible - showcase yours here

    Life of a teen has got to be bad. Now it's just terrible. Look at her, witness the suffering on her face, the pain, the agony. Life is cruel to her and there's no telling how long she can stand it.
    Or maybe not.

    I think teens are wonderful. There may be exceptions, like when they go through a Loud Phase. Then I just want to fast forward my game and pray they will get over it as fast as possible, but for the most part, I love my teens.

    Teens seem to behave a bit different now.
    What do You think?

      My rotation is in the process of aging up several children to teens so I expect a lot more of this in the near future.

      So I just finished a rotation with that household with twin teens... one of them had a mood swing every.single.day! That got a little old. We did have some teen romance though. Dad was happier about it than Mom was.

      Yes, their Mood Swings are getting old in my games too.
      Angry +50 require knocking over 6 trashcans
      Sad +50 it helps to have a pet around
      etc .....

      Teens are hard working sims and it feels like YAs can just take it easy compared to em.

      Some kids go through a bear phase. My teen Rowan went through a vampire phase.

      (Edit: Somehow I missed that this thread is only showcasing bad to terrible teens, not just teens in general. So I've removed my picture of my teen not being bad or terrible.)

      I do like that the mood swings make the teen stage feel more distinct, rather than just mini YA. And they provide plenty of opportunity for journaling and/or jogging to improve emotional control. But it does mean that having two or more teens in a household at once can be trying at times.

      Feel free to share everything teens.

      My geuss is teens will show random emotions, at random and sometimes it is easy to see why and sometimes it makes no sense at all.
      I also noticed they look like they just thougt of something new, as they used to do in an Inspried Mood, when they are Happy f.ex.

      Faunus was not a BAD teen... but he really ought to have cleared off his nightstand before his kid brother came in to nap here after a Monster Under the Bed moment.

      Thanks for sharing Faunus with us. :)
      Teens can be good with children and toddlers, look after em when needed, just as good as adult sims.
      When I play adult sims, I also use the Parenting Skill on teens and it works outside family as well.

      My teens have always been good with younger siblings. Faunus & Brodie remain best friends as Young Adults. I let my Sims be teens for a good while, too. :)
