You know you are all making the pack you never even played I might add into something terrible. Its not that horrible its actually really fun and different from what we are use to in the Sims. I am enjoying it.
Yes, I bought it and I'm still enjoying it. I'm so happy the Sims did something different, and I hope this trend continues. CAS is great and the build items are perfect because I'm going to turn one of my worlds into a sci-fi Star Wars world where families can visit, dine out at a Star Wars theme style restaurant, kid/toddler Star Wars water park, sci-fi movie theater, bar of course and so many more possibilities I'm planning to do in this world.
Absolutely NOT! I refuse to contribute to telling EA that it's "okay" to keep releasing these cash grab packs... the ONLY way to let them know this isn't acceptable is by speaking with our wallets! Because no matter how much negative backlash they experience for the pack, it all comes down to money, which is also why I'm very angry at Simmers who are only buying this pack for the sake of completing their collection, while still hating it... That's. Not. How. It. Works! All EA cares about is money... as long as the pack makes money, they're gonna consider it a "success", despite the consistent backlash.
This is the second pack I'll NEVER buy! The first being 'My First Pet'... Sims 4 is the only game in the series that I won't be completing the collection for... and yes, I even bought Katy Perry Sweet Treats.
I wasn't super interested in it. Bought it anyway. I spent almost the entire day going through all 3 storylines. I feel like I took it slowly and explored as much as I could and I still just feel meh about it. It's like it's the start of something hinging on greatness, but didn't quite make it there. I don't know if there was some kind of time crunch to where they had to cut things they may have had planned or what, but it felt like something was just missing. I got my money's worth out of it, though. There isn't much else I could spend $20 on and do nearly all day, so I'm not really mad about it. I just feel like this pack was almost there, but fell short.
If they took this idea and expanded on it more along the lines of Sims Medieval, but with less restrictions, I think it could have been a really great, really innovative and interesting game. I mean, even if they would have made it a full expansion with more included, it would have been better. I would have liked to have more areas like the Cantina to explore. It fell a little flat for me, but I wasn't expecting much after all the reviews I watched. It is what it is. I enjoy Star Wars, though, so at least I have some good decor for that

Yes I admit I said I wouldn’t buy it and yes I technically bought it to complete my collection. Saying that I saw potential in it after I saw lilsimsies review on the pack. It might be just me but I found it cool that if you wanted to you could make a sims child a Star Wars obsessed fan and decorate their room with that stuff. I love decorating in this game so that is why I bought the game. Star Wars themed stuff for a child’s room is cool. I’m really not happy about the world or that nothing in this pack would fit in any world but as a decorator in the sims it what peaked my interest. You don’t have to necessarily use Star Wars to build a house with but you can just use it to decorate one room.

Glad you are enjoying it! I'm keeping my eye on the feedback (still unsure if I'll buy it). Would you be able to tell me in what ways you are finding it fun? From what I've been reading, there isn't that much to do but missions. And simmers are saying those missions are repetitive and boring. I'd love to hear a positive take on those things, if you don't mind.
No, but I will, maybe, probably, someday. IF, they ever fix the gardening bug and other problems with EL and the patch that preceded it. I promised myself I wouldn't buy it until that happened and I'm sticking to it.
Nope, but I have watched people play and post about it and there are some interesting things that inspire me a little bit. Still there isn't enogh interesting stuff for me to buy it
Did not buy. Even as an old school Star Wars fan, this holds no interest. I saw a stream showcasing the objects and there's probably only two or three I can see working for my builds, and that's not worth paying the pack price for, even on sale. First time I'm skipping a Sims 4 pack, and I usually find items within all of them that make me happy enough to pay, but this one just doesn't do it for me. I hope people who have bought it are enjoying it, though!
Don't think I will ever purchase this pack. Only nice thing about this pack is the Build/Buy, but honestly I'd rather live without the BB than to see Star Wars themed content around my game, just the thought of seeing Star Wars stuff in my CAS would be enough to break my immersion.
Since Sims 2 I have bought every single title and for the first time ever I have not bought this release. I simply don’t want this in my game. I hope the next title is a less niche title.
I'm adamant with my decisions. I said I won't buy it I didn't buy it. And, yes, I'm salty about people who were criticizing it and trashing it but then bought it day one.

You can atleast use the alien outfits for Halloween Parties if you have Spooky Stuff. Imagine being dressed as Kylo or a storm trooper.
No. I agree with the poster above, not until the EL bugs are fixed. And now there's this new bug which means you can't play any freelance careers. It's getting worse not better. I dropped in on Bug Reports earlier. Has there ever been a time when that many open threads have literally hundreds of posts? Gardening one has over 400. Even the freelance one has well over 100 already.

75% ? yeah, maybe. I think I will keep holding on to my money. Hope for something good that I've wanted like a farm ep, casino gp, etc.
