    The sims 4 on Steam will recognize all my DLC?

    Would be a redundant question, as alreasy was answered than yes

    But I guess the previous apply when have the game at the default location

    Will work if your Origin library is at another location?
    My Origin client is at C: drive but my library is at E:\Origin

      No i dont think Sims 4 can read your installed dlc if it located in another folder or drive. also pretty sure Steam has its own way of checking whether you have dlc for the said game, but i could be wrong. if you want you can move your sims 4 origin to Steam install location and most likely it will launch through steam if it contains steam dll.

      I thought they said DLC purchased in Origin will play if you open your game in Steam, but you would have to purchase the base game AGAIN in Steam for it to work?

      I don’t know, I have no interest in playing Sims in Steam and I already own everything for Origin.

      You would need to buy TS4 from steam and it wi recognize your dlcs
