    My sim won't stop holding a piece of paper

    My sim (who is a bard) read a poem and won't stop holding it. I tried enabling cheats and resetting him but it kept saying that this was an unknown command. Then, I tried to sell all the poems in his inventory but that didn't do anything.

    Please help me

      It's always worked for me. I had a blacksmith who kept holding the hot iron she was working on. (Darn apprentice kept interrupting) I just shift-clicked and reset the sim and it went away just fine.
