The Townhall Meeting Room above the library is a popular place for those sims looking to get married on a budget. The city does a nice job of transforming it into a wedding space, and the views are amazing.

@15aewar Thank you! There are 2 reasons they didn't have a big wedding. One (you guessed it) is that I wanted to show that they need to go budget, and reason 2 is that I haven't built a fancy wedding venue yet, so I had to make something work from what I've already built (I'm trying to build everything and not use gallery lots so I can eventually share them with everyone). As far as Mr. Lewis, I think my basic story description may be a bit misleading because Mr. Lewis doesn't exist in this alternate reality. So, anything can happen.
I'm working on a little self-made challenge that I haven't shared yet, but basically I want to have all my main sims be pre-mades (including maxis-made gallery sims) or the offspring of premades (no tainted NPC blood, LOL). So I needed to start with 2 premades, and Vivian and Lava Man are 2 of my favorites. As they have kids and I pick my next legacy sim from the children, I'll marry the heir off to a premade, and so on. The 2 starter families are made from the DNA of the 2 starter sims, and then pretty much everyone else will be NPCs (although I'll do some heavy editing).

Hehe, Joey made me laugh suddenly getting cold feet because he was asked about a wedding lol, thats a one date only gig then is it? Loving the story, the pictures, and all of your hard work setting up the wedding shows, you did a great job! I saw your other thread as I was floating around the forums about how much prep do you put into an event and I thought oooo just reading that makes me realize I'm underutilizing the game....seeing it made that thought concrete. But I do love seeing how others go about in their game. Again I loved Vivian's dress.

[If the smiley shark looks familiar, there’s a reason for that. When you up-size the fish tanks, the fish do not get upsized with them, so they become invisible since they’re swimming around in the base of the tank where nobody can see. I searched and searched for a fish mod, but all I could find that would show up from the side was a decal pack from Finding Nemo, LOL. So that’s what I used.]
