      I know exactly what you're talking about I think: sausage cream gravy with loads of fresh black pepper on buttermilk biscuit, also known as "biscuits-n-gravy" and...mmmmmmmdrooool. You must be Southern and/or Texan.

      @neuroandproud I had to look that up but the hubs was stationed in Germany and likes it and it looks like Spanikopita meets ravioli. A meat and spinach filled dumpling. So yum.

      For the Southerners and/or Texans (or anyone else who ever had this delicacy): Milk and cornbread? I would say for breakfast with leftover cornbread but y'all know there's no such thing as leftover cornbread. :)

      If it's really good fine bittersweet dark chocolate and good oil of orange, then yum! But if it's that cheap junk in the form of the foil-wrapped milk chocolate shaped like an orange that they sell at the holidays, hard pass. Quality really matters with things like that.

      Oooo, that is one of my all-time faves! Provided I get to make the Hollandaise because I don't trust restaurants anymore because they all seem to use something from a jar.

      I especially like it with gravlax (smoked salmon) in place of canadian bacon, but fish for breakfast is one of my favorite treats that other people tend to find weird.

      Speaking of fish, pan-fried smelts? (breakfast of champions!)
