@Bloosmoo the fake bears from Outdoor Retreat are still annoying me hahahaha

@Karon I hear you. Would it have hurt to either make real bears or just not have them? This sim in a bear suit as a bear substitute just isn't disturbing, or funny. But it is cute when the kids have that I'm a bear phase....that I can put up with. I honstley think I'm getting grumpier as time goes on, when they first came out they didn't' bother me, I was a bit, Oh cute, but perhaps when pets come out it will have actual bears in it and this is a hint. Nope! We got racoons, we got hamster, we got yetis that don't have any special powers and could have come with seasons and appeared in snowstorms, but no! How cool would an a pet bear be? Better yet imagine if the imaginary friend was a bear rather than a doll thing....even better. At least that would give bears night some meaning...all the imaginary bear friends meeting up in a pub wishing they were real sims. I'd be down with that. I think mostly I just miss the humour in the game and yet the same people are working on it. Sorry I wrote you another book lol

@Karon I think it’s possible that horses may be coming not as pets (meaning not part of the household, less developed than in TS3), but rather farm animals that can be used as mean of transportation and that you have to take minimum care of (feed, clean), I think this version could fit in a game pack.
Again pure speculation on my part :) .

Honestly, I'd stop playing TS4 if that were the case. I've been waiting for horses since release.

I see no reason why we can't get a full farming EP with horses and other animals -- that's what I would like. In The Sims 3, the farm set (with a chicken coop and dairy corral) and the canning station were both sold separately as sets in the Sims 3 Store, and for me they were never that well utilized in the whole game. The farm animals in particular were terribly underwhelming, disappointing and really just objects. The Canning station functioned okay with a mod, but I would have liked the jams and preserves to integrate better with the regular cooked items in the game (the jams were spreadable on toast if I remember but not really able to be given as gifts, like in Sims 1, or used in new recipes).

So I really think that even if the developers just took those store sets and made them part of a pack, while integrating them with existing Sims 4 systems like gardening, cooking, and retail (with some improvements to the last like being able to sell fruit and veggies in cartons, baskets or crates), we could have a great game pack. For an EP, I would hope that they would add some new and improved elements as well, like more animals (not just horses, but chickens, cows, sheep or alpacas and llamas), more family-based gameplay such as new group activities, the bake oven for kids, craftable products like butter, wool and cheese, and a Country Fair or Farmer's market venue with the ability for competition and sales. If the developers also manage to include Off-the-grid gameplay somehow, that would be even better.

Honestly, it shouldn't be that hard to make a good farming pack by simply adding to what we have. I also hope we get a music EP this year, with an active singing career like acting in Get Famous, and perhaps also the ability to add accompaniment for the singers in the form of new playable bands (like in Late night) or more accompanying instruments. It would be great if we could have singers choose to give live concerts in different styles or genres of music, with ticket sales and attendance depending on the level of fame: there could be a rock/pop genre, with the singer singing with an accompanying four-piece back up band (including drums, electric guitar, City living keyboard and maybe a bass), a classical genre, with accompaniments by piano and violin, and a jazz genre, with accompaniments by drums, bass, jazz piano and maybe a new instrument like the saxophone or flute. New instruments (upright piano, saxophone, flute, electric guitar, drums, bass, cello etc) would all be welcome along with the ability to form trios or bands, rehearse together, play gigs etc.

For game packs, I would like to see at least one new vacation pack with a destination world. If this could include more winter sports and maybe visitable and ownable hotels and resorts, that would just be a bonus. (Rental lots should be added to the base game in a patch in my opinion). Or, as an alternative I would also enjoy a theme park based pack as part of a vacation world, provided it also included resorts. Fun activities could include merry-go-rounds, ferris wheels, modular roller coasters with unique animations and special buffs, log rides or water slides, kiddie rides (like bouncy animals, bouncy castles, tiny rocket ships) for kids and toddlers, not to forget food stands (open to all ages unlike the ones in City Living or Jungle Adventure) selling carnival food like caramel or candy apples, waffle or cheese fries, corn dogs, souvlaki in a pita, candy floss, bacon on a bun, mini donuts, ice lollies or popsicles, poutine etc.

I would also like another Parenthood-style pack, but one focussed, this time, entirely on interactions between kids, teens and toddlers and their attempts to either subvert or challenge parental authority. All of them should have new interactive socials, etc, because currently they are fairly thin (all they can really do is talk). In addition, it would also be great to have the ability for teens to throw wild parties while their parents were away (and then get grounded) like in Generations, and to go to prom together etc. Kids and toddlers would be able to interact more, and there should be new activities for them to do in their age-appropriate groups -- like having a sleepover party with activities such as playing games together, making forts, having pillow fights, whispering with friends in sleeping bags, doing indoor camping, decorating cookies or cupcakes together, playing boardgames or charades, making fun crafts like paper airplanes or silly hats, etc .

I am not as interested in stuff packs. I feel we have more than enough of those. So I am open to whatever they give us in that category.

I would like a Romance GP and a Farming EP. Other possible themes I would like are new vacation/adventure destinations and theme parks.

edit: Oh, and a Hotel GP that lets us build, own and place hotels in every world (normal and vacation) and stay there. Similar to how Dine Out introduced restaurants.

SP 01: Tiny Living (already released)
SP 02: Knitting (we already know this one is coming)

GP 01: Hotels/Resorts (similar to TS3 Island Paradise, but it would focus on the hotel/resort part since it would be just a game pack. You would be able to either own/build/manage a hotel/resort or stay in one as a guest. Hotels/resorts would be placeable in any world (residential and vacation), so for example you could place one in Sulani and stay there for vacation)
GP 02: Free Time (inspired by TS2 Free Time but as a game pack, it could add new activities such as pool tables, restoring cars, car washing (maybe cars would come in the patch), soccer goals, volleyball, new playground objects, trampoline, etc.)

EP 01: Farming (a lot of people want this, so it's probably coming, it would probably add new animals such as horses, cows, pigs, chicken and sheep plus a new rural world and probably new harvestables such as corn)
EP 02: Generations (a Generations pack would be the perfect opportunity for them to add bunk beds, which a lot of people request (including myself), plus it would add new gameplay for life stages that rarely get any, such as teens and elders. Other objects that could return besides bunk beds could be the rocking chair, spiral staircases (since they were added in TS3 Generations), strollers, tree houses, new playground objects, drums)

SPs: Tiny Living, Knitting
GPs: Free Time*, Winter Fun
EPs: Rural Living, Showtime**

*A hobby related game pack with pottery, cooking competitions, sewing, a new musical instrument to learn (e.g. drums), a new sport (e.g. volleyball, skateboard, surfing, ballet), new stuff for all ages (train set, hiking, bird watching).

** In cooperation with a globally (!) known star your Sims can live the lifestyle of the rich and famous. Along with their actor friends they can gain fame, live in expensive houses (new CAS and B/B), have some new traits (diva, stage-fright, natural born performer, vegan), buy and drive a sports car, have fans and stans, give great performances as solo artists (singers) or as bands (different record labels available).
I'd love to see a singing career in game, EA! You can't let the singing skill go to waste! My TS4 EPs: GTW, GT, CL, C&D, S, GF, IL, DU, EL, SE, CoL, HSY, GrT, HR, FR GPs: OR, SD, DO, V, P, JA, SV, RoM, DHD, MWS

I have a few things I want to see.

1. A Farming Expansion pack with farm animals, a county fair. And a sewing machine with patterns and a color wheel!
2. Either a game pack or Expansion with Special Romance actions , Bridal Stuff. Romantic vacations ( likes and dislikes, and horoscopes maybe added to base game and then expanded on in other packs like lot traits were ) things like that
3. A pack or 2 or 3 including cars, hotels/resorts, casino stuff, Theme parks/Zoo’s, and carnival stuff
4. Malls..... not sure how they would work that, but maybe several different types of lots in one lot ( like retail, spa, gym and restaurant, together in one lot which the player controls what types).
5. vacations/vacations/ vacations....
6. Birds, snakes, rabbits, lizards, kids and adults can feed, play with etc. I would also like a pet shop where we can see all pets including cats and dogs and the ones in my first pet stuff.
7. Jobs/careers/jobs......, more active careers especially..... and how about some part time active careers.
8. Medieval pack with bows and arrows, swords, horses, dragons.
9. How about some snow mobiles, motorcycles, bikes and trikes for kids, skateboards for children and teens, maybe even young adults.
10. Hobbies..... they had a lot of cool ones they let us choose from when we chose knitting.... how about some more of those? I would like to see a mechanic career/ hobby too.... maybe with a cars pack? I want more arts and crafts, more sports, more after school things for children to do. etc.

Would love all of your ideas, I hope we get updated babies or preteens too though.

I fear we get another stupid story driven EP like stranger ville with unnecessary themes like superheroes, apocalypse and such things... I know that they're cool for some people and wanted too, but this game is a life simulation game and it's lacking so much life simulation. I want more activities for my sims to do TOGETHER as families and friends!

Stuff Pack 01: Tiny Living
Stuff Pack 02: Community Voted "Knitting" SP
Game Pack 01: Back to School GP with playable active school for kids/(pre-)teens and an active teacher career, coming along with preteens as a new life stage (patched in like toddlers beforehand), proms, school dances, afterschool activities - therefore also more musical instruments and bands!
Game Pack 02: Winter Vacation Fun GP coming with a wintery vacation world, a hotel/resort system, skiing, snowboarding, sledding
Expansion Pack 01: Farming EP coming with horses like in TS3, chicken, cows, pigs, sheep, spinning to make wool, canning, crop update
Expansion Pack 02: Generations EP coming with updated babies that work like in TS Freeplay, bunk beds, lots of family activities like boardgames that can be played by up to 8 Sims, sleepover/slumber parties, cars and the abilty to teach teens how to drive, mini oven and costume trunk (like in TS3), treehouses, more playground equipment like carousels, seesaws, slides for children, swings for toddlers, playhouse towers to climb on like we had in TS3, these little seesaw figures toddlers could ride on in TS3, I want the "play on playground" interaction back, kids can build sandclastles with more than just 2 sims together, hopscotches, canes for elders, rocking chair, grandparents can invite their grandchildren to stay over at their house, simple children games like clapping games, tag, hide and seek, ringle ringle roses, etc.

These are my wishes. Would be so great to get those. But I fear I will get just one of them if I'm very lucky and the rest will be like stuff thrown at us no one asked for in the first place like another story driven GP with an apocalpyse theme or something like that...

I also don't want any more occults at this phase because we have so many already (also fairies and unicorns would be nice, they could come with the Farming EP)

Literally all I 100% need is Winter Vacation. Preferably not half baked and definitely an EP. We could have lodges and actual house so you can choose if you want to vacation or to live there. I don’t think it being a vacation world would cut it.
Set in Alaska, it needs to include snowboarding, sledding, a functional ski lift, trees, death by crashing into a tree (if not, severe injury and ski patrol will be called to take you away). Resident critters would be meese, mountain goats and deer. All these animals should be interactable and befriendable, and if you upset them there should be deaths related to that. The whole pack should include stuff that you can do as a whole family, drink hot chocolates in front of a fire, have a snow pal building contest, build snow forts, maybe even igloos. There would be ski lessons, tours through the backcountry on sleds based on Inuit culture and tours. You could be pulled up by ski patrollers for high speeds and you could try to get away (high speed chases with three outcomes: caught, which comes with an embarrassed mood let, crashed into a tree which could result in injury or death and got away which comes with a confident moodlet). A ski instructor career with two branches: Ski Instructor: in which the instructor branch would be as you gain experience and become a professional (Highest Level could be Instructors Instructor or Backcountry Guide (both of which require the highest qualifications and many many years of training irl)), and Ski Patroller: these are the people that check the slopes are alright to open, pull up people when they’re going too fast, save people when they’re in trouble, etc.
A sample of the career branch could look like this (I snowboard and I have my instructor cert so this is partially accurate)
Base Branch
1. Shadow - this is a trainee position you basically just watch how a more experienced instructor teaches and chip in when they need help
2. Instructor’s Help - Act as a secondary instructor under the supervision of a more experienced instructor (passing this level could include a technical exam where they test your own skill)
3. Rookie - can only teach beginners on green runs (basically stuck on the magic carpet if anyone knows what that is)
4. Decent Instructor - all the description you need is in the name
Ski Instructor Branch
5. Certified Instructor - you can finally take high level classes
6. Private Coach - takes private lessons
7. Powder Guide/Instructor’s Instructor - Powder Guides go off piste (into uncharted/non mountain run areas where ski patrol doesn’t come rescue you) while the instructors instructors teach up and coming instructors
Ski Patroller Branch
5. Traffic Conductor - gives warnings and tickets to people going too fast on the slope
6. Run Closer - closes dangerous runs and marks hazards with a red pole
7. Rescue Team - rescues people that have gotten injured or stuck in the snow
As long as we get Winter Vacation I’m happy with Sims 4.
I wouldn’t mind (in this order):
Farm Living
Werewolves (instead of normal romantic relationships I would love mate bonds (you can cheat these to make them with people you want or the game can set them (they can be ignored, however the mate will be upset if they see you with your chosen spouse and you will be upset if you see them with their chosen spouse)).
Hotels
Generations
Hobbies
Stage Performances (singing, bands, etc)

[*] Stuff Pack 01: Tiny Living
[*] Stuff Pack 02: Community Voted "Knitting" SP
[*]
[*] Game Pack 01:. Winter destination with placeable hotel lot. Patch for apartments from City updated. Cabins also for rent. Woohoo faux fur for in front of fireplace. Cabin decor/ deer/ antlers/ bear ECT. Ice rink, winter fun, chair lift, pics of Sims on chair lift they can buy at kiosk, souvenir shop, ECT
[*]
[*] Game Pack 02:. Either preteens/toddler /infants/elder pack with preteens and infants freed in a patch and many items for them such as playpen, walker, stroller, infant carrier for back, infant sling for front, infant mat, swing, riders for toddlers, tricycle after they learn walking, float with legs for toddlers in big pool or ocean and float boat for infants in pool or ocean that can be pushed or pull stringed. Canes, elder glasses with tape, apron dress, the granny stuff, granny stockings that come to the knee rolled, bun hair granny look, tree that holds Granny's pictures to sit up.
[*]
[*] Or

Wedding GP with loads of cake and dress options. Pick flower child, ring bearer, best man, bridesmaids, pics to buy, photographer to hire for ceremony, flowers( hand and sit around), veils, fabric swags and decor, wedding chapel & decor, wedding shop to shop and hire wedding planner ( playable). Invitation to send. Engaged as a CAS relationship, step kids/mother/father added as relationships and family tree update in patch. Throwing of the bouquet, wedding party picture. Ability to marry Grim and more interactions.
[*]
[*] Expansion Pack 01:. Farming-. Focusing fully on farming, equipment(tractors (old and cab), hay baler(square & round- that animals actually eat), fencing( rickety, barbwire, wood, electric), a farmer's market to buy and sell products and animals, and animals that can produce products (cows, chickens, pigs, sheep, goats, and geese)- that don't count toward house count like pets does. Farming career, new plants, and southern crops (corn, green beans, spinach, ECT) and country dishes to prepare like soup beans and cornbread. Only a couple of hair styles, house dress with apron, new overalls, handkerchief, and very limited CAS and little to no furniture so that the limited spots available can be for stuff related to real farming listed above. Largest lots possible included with a couple smaller ones.

I hope that the EP will focus on farming, the items above and barn building features instead of being filled with furniture, too much CAS, and horses that would take up to many resources and can't produce farm products. EP's don't come with as much as they use to, so in order to round out the subject of farming, I hope horses come in it's own pack with unicorns and Pegasus and furniture can come in future packs.

[*] Expansion Pack 02:. Goth/ dangerous stuff/ happy haunts/ Afterlife EP with good/ bad places Sims go. Good- cloud houses- ghosts updated to have no needs. Angel wings added. Bad place. No houses except Grim's mansion. Nothing except negative interactions and all ghosts here lose all traits except bad ones and gain negative traits in their place. Good Sims lose bad traits replaced with good ones. Bad Sims can't leave the bad sim place, but good ones can go to the sim world as long as the sim player didn't release their spirit. Funerals as an event. Graveyards and all interactions ( including romantic ones) with Grim restored. Round, miss covered, fancy, and double headstones and urns( old fancy, ornate, poor, ECT) added. As part of the event, funerals wills be planned out. Also, all adult Sims can make a will; if they don't, town hall gets everything including money and the remaining Sims are moved out and made to buy their own place with the smallest amount of funds for their size. The service will include speaker, flowers, choice of urn/gravestone/casket(wood, plain, ornate, fancy, Goth, steampunk, other), placement in graveyard or at home, clothes the sim will wear, the bill, and if the simmer wants to have the ghost be part of the family or released to where they are going in the afterlife. Good Sims not released can travel to the good place to the sim world. Witch hats, crystal ball, magic mirror, and moving pictures could be added with caretaker career and others.

2. Family-Related Game Pack on March/April (including the Imaginary Friends)
3. Farming Expansion Pack on June
4. Knitting Stuff Pack on August
5. Fairies or Werewolves Game Pack on October
6. Staged Performances/Musical Career Expansion Pack or Winter Wonderland/Snow Vacation on November

I would love the music related expansion, especially if it meant more instruments, electric guitars as an option in addition to the Grandpas Guitars currently in the game, making a band as part of the clubs option (or something similar), making music venues for performances, more rocker/goth/metal clothes and having more music genres in the radio stations.

Royalty Pack

Have your sims be the King and Queen they deserve to be! Instead of an older medieval type royalty, it’s more modern day. You can use the get famous reputation system to have your sims within the monarch to be judged by the people. I suggest starting with 3 monarch families, one that’s already stablished and have 2 generations of royalty, and they are very well off and liked by the people. Another family which is a bigger family and aren’t that well liked by the people but are trying to raise their reputation. Lastly, an newer family with a prince/princess that your sims can marry into. Also give the players the options of starting their own monarchy. Provide the players with a royal advisor and create a new lot meant for castles! Have these castled already have things like a maid/butler for services and provide a personal chef. Social events like a royal ball/banquet and something like “Greet the Town” where they can interact with the people and raise their rep. Have the sims be able to have titles (King, queen, prince, princess, advisor, duke, duchess, etc). Also royal announcements like a new royal baby, or announcing the heir. Have the sims mourn if a well liked royal dies or have them jump in joy if they weren’t liked much. Also you could introduce horses in this pack and have sims play things like horse riding, maybe input activities like ballet and tennis for the royal lineage to participate in! So things like ballet animations and tennis animations on a tennis court! Also ballroom dance animations and royal greetings animations! Also give the children the option of home schooling, so the teacher sims can have the option to work on the royal lot and teach the princes/princesses for the day. Now when it comes to fashion of course we want BIG BEAUTIFUL DRESSES and very fancy clothing and big hair! I was thinking the items within the pack can be older rococo styled things and cute vintage wallpapers and flooring and older furniture. The world can look kinda like Britain and all! You can incorporate thrones and have the royals make laws and also pass and deny them!! It’s just an idea that I’ve been thinking that the players would definitely like to be.

2. Stuff Pack 02: Knitting Stuff
3. Game Pack 01: Happy Haunts (because that needs to be a game pack)
4. Game Pack 02: Romance/Wedding stuff
5. Expansion Pack 01: Generations
6. Expansion Pack 02: Farming (If we get this, I'm making a Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons save, and you can't stop me. :p )

I'd also like a retro stuff pack, and @DaWaterRat's Into the Woods idea sounds pretty good too.

Don't know what we'll get, but what I'd like:

Relationships GP
Fleshes out all relationships so sims really have meaningful and deep relationships with each other. Family, friendships, romances and enemies. This would bring a lot of depth to sims and make it more rewarding to actually foster relationships with sims. Also includes many ways to ruin others' lives via rumours, scheming etc (includes manipulative trait). TS3-style gossiping returns, as well as a chemistry system. Sims having things in common becomes much more important, and new and improved interactions reflect this (trying to impress by talking about others' interests, skills etc).

Hotel GP
Like Dine Out, but for a wide variety of resorts and hotels in any world. I would like if you can make hotels/resorts multi-functional, for example adding custom menu's for a dining hall or room service, spa areas etc.

Farming EP
Beautiful and relaxing rural world with farm animals, markets and many things to do with produce: jams/preserves (including certain flowers and herbs), canning, soaps and perfumes. New produce (ex. grain, corn and oats), and many new recipes: butter, ice cream, yogurt, various fruit pies etc. Emphasis on peaceful, off-the grid (or fancy with tractors etc) life where you can raise, grow and craft everything you'd need. Would be cool if alpacas are included and you can harvest their wool for use in the knitting SP.

Venice EP
A world that is a hybrid of Venice, France and general characteristics of Italy. Would include Renaissance and French build mode styles and a very romantic atmosphere. New gameplay includes nectar making, candy making, a new type of cuisine (maybe fine dining: a branch of gourmet cooking), new instruments (ex. the lute) and maybe vintage toy-making. The world has a lot of rich history and is a capitol of fine handcrafted things in the Sims world. Perfect for a romantic getaway, living like Cassanova or for just pretending you're in the 1500s.

Alternatives
I have posted detailed explanations of all of these ideas, so if you're curious or want to read more, just browse my posts.
• This would feel like a bit of a rip-off from Island Living, but I deeply yearn for an enchanting scuba diving experience. A GP that delves into this underwater world woud take my breath away. It would be a bonus if it adds some more flesh to mermaids.
• I really want an EP with a beautiful ancient Japan-themed world with winding mountains, misty lakes etc. Gameplay could include koi fish breeding and collection, advanced tea making, calligraphy, toy making, real martial arts, ethnic dances, new produce (rice, kelp, cherrie blossoms + cherries etc) and recipes.
• It would be great to have an African-themed pack (GP or SP). The SP could simply give some beautiful decor, CAS and appropriate gameplay (maybe pottery, since much of Africa has very clay-like earth that is used for pottery). A GP could focus on safari and add a wildlife biologist career.
• Furthermore, I want an EP that brings a futuristic eco-friendly city. Gameplay could include many careers that focus on the high-end ( interior decorating/architect, stylist and graphic designer), futuristic activities as listed on one of our community SP vote packs (esports, egholf, gadgets etc), eco-friendly tech like solar panels and recycling, and fancy blue drinks served in metal bikinis.
• Finally, you know I want that Pirate EP. I don't need to say much about it. Just follow the link in my signature.
