Show, don't tell. That way they can make the connection between the words and actions. Lots of videos, books, samples of common foods. Maybe s ome roleplay practice once they've gotten the basics?

So one idea that always stuck with me is that mathematics is probably the only common language that an advanced alien species and us can mutually understand, so I'd demonstrate the rules we know, like the pythagorean theorem or finding the area under a curve. And by that I mean I'd grab an actual mathematician.
@InfraGreen well in this case the 'aliens' are from earth. In reaility.. I'm trying to figure out how to teach a course called "A Muggle's Life" for Hogwarts Online. ITs a 301 course but the thing is I think it would be a rehash of the previous classes. (Muggle transportation, Muggle sports/recreational,etc)
Yet antoher new generation starting. That wasn't planned, and probably won't happen again

Didn't they add the kid's Yoda costume to the game ages ago? And it's just regular old Yoda. Baby Yoda is from the new Mandelorian series and probably isn't even Yoda...I'm tired of the memes but if they're still around next Halloween I AM dressing my tiny gremlin dog as it.

well with the "original Yoda" costume- you could dress as Princess Leia, Hans Solo. What ever Luke Skywalker wears when he's flying the plane which destroys the Death Star, and Darth Vader costumes. There's are a couple (3) of costumes for adults I'm not sure what they're suppose to be but I get one (red face mask) is from the prequel movies
