I want to write a simlit but I give up on 99% of what I write and I don't want to disappoint people. also people go away and come back to their simlits all the time and no one bats in an eye it's almost expected for simlit writers to disappear every now and then

I always give up on everything i start 😔 but i managed to keep working on this same simlit for 2+ years XD The chapters are just really spaced out cause i need to finf inspiration first... You could always do mini stories, though. They might end before you lose interest and get inspiration for something else

Yeah, i have noticed that writers i like have disappeared and came back and no one said anything, although my story lost popularity after my hiatus last year (like 3 months) which is why i'm always trying not to leave huge gaps in between chapters (and failing)
And i mean more like, no one seems to care about it/like it much anymore. I feel like i've really screwed it over too. Like things are moving super fast, and things keep changing from what they were supposed to be so the story is just kind of... moving on a really bumpy road.

I feel you 😔 like, i get a reasomable amoint of likes but 2 or 3 people actually keep up with it. And i've done everything. Tags, recaps, changed the plot to something simple so people could understand... Nothing really seems to work anymore. *Sigh*
