My Sim got the Refined Palate trait. The home lot has the Chef's Kitchen trait, so it was a matter of time.

I've had Sims with Emotional Bomb, but one just picked up Public Number. I should explain that I've got my game saved on two different computers at the moment. My laptop, which I've been playing way more frequently and my gaming rig where I'm more used to playing. So, I took a copy of my Sims 4 folder from a flash drive and uploaded it to the laptop. I've just now gotten back up to my gaming rig. So, while I'm playing the very same family, they aren't nearly as far along as they are in my laptop version. Erik is just recently a Notable Newcomer up here and I chose a completely different path for him with the awards you can choose. He was able to ask for an autograph, a selfie and a hug from a Big Named star. Then she cheered him on when he had his turn at the mic (Talent Night). Apparently, having him upload/add to his story on his Simstagraham was a very bad move on his part. His phone number went out … Heavy sigh.

That's good to know. I'll have to check to see if Erik has lost the Public Phone quirk.
My sim currently has Paparazzi Darling, No Touching, and A Stan! I'm very curious to see what the last one will be, I absolutely adore the quirk system!
So far my sim only has Vain Street but she only recently became a level 3 celebrity and she loves posing for the paparazzi in her workout clothes in the middle of winter lol so I’m suspecting she’s going to get the paparazzi darling one next

if i do not activly work towards them i Always end up with the same old fan mail and stan. those are too easy to get compared to the others since you usually get swarmed by the fans once you show up somewhere -.- and not just once, apparantly Paolo Rocca (god i hate him) wanted three autographs right after wispering and laughing about me before >:( good thing my celebrity sim rejected him… serves you right you two-faced snake! yup, they continue to pester you multiple times making those two quirks basic ones to get unless you actively influence which ones you want as soon as you get a free slot and ofc refined palette if you got a competent cook, but i never mind that one free +3 happiness buff after every meal.
My Global Superstar now has four quirks. No Touching; Public Number (which was the first one he acquired); Fan Mail; and STAN. So far, nothing has been too disruptive. If it gets out-of-control, I'll have his Agent take care of things.
Hm, I read at the time, that he got the STAN for being so very friendly with his fans. Erik loves his fans and will sign autographs until his hand nearly falls off. Plus he will take Selfies with them. Generally, he's just really nice to them. So, he gets 'rewarded' with a STAN.
I only have the "admire fine self" in mirror thing. Don't recall the name, was it "Vain Lane"? I read it can be annoying having to admire self, but most days my sim has many happy or confident buffs, so the tense thing have little impact. Might get worse if like goes downhill I assume...
I have a celebrity couple -- they both have Refined Palate because the wife is an excellent cook so they got it from good old home cooking (means they're not that fond of restaraunt meals). The wife (who isa stylist who writes books on the side) just got Emotion Bomb but I haven't seen that have an effect yet. I might do the Celebrity Cleanse when I get back to that family so I can start again.

Mine does, too. But generally since my Sim has a Pristine Reputation, he also has a perk that Sims become his instant friends upon introduction. He befriended his first STAN, and another one showed up shortly afterward.
My travel video producer has Public Phone number, here is how it happened: He drank several drinks in a row at a meet and greet, but didn't get Juice Enthusiast. Instead, when he was brushing his teeth later in a public toilet he got swarmed by sims who wanted to watch this. They were very thrilled at the sight! Eldigan used "update simstagram story" to share a picture of the weirdos with his followers and, bamm, his phone number leaked.
for some reason no fan ever wants to talk to my (relatively famous, three star) sim and I can't even give autographs away! so now he has the "no touching!' quirk, and is happy when he doesn't see any fans. It's not ideal, but it puts my sim in a good mood so I'm not too annoyed about it.

you will be once you want to chat with your non- or lower celebrity friends… It causes your sim to get angry/tense and usually cut the conversation off because of that quirk. apparantly the quirk doesn't make an exception for friends or even family.. as i experienced at least when i had that one.

by giving autographs or just wait for the fans to swarm you for them. second easiest quirk to get while doing nothing special for it
