It seems that my Sims' cats are STILL getting stuck on counters...it happened recently with the Afton family cat Bon-Bon and my Simself's black cat Sheba. The only way I can get those cats unstuck is to leave the house and travel somewhere with the cats, which is a real pain in the neck. Please fix this issue,EA...I don't want to keep leaving the house just to prevent those cats from staying on the counters and going hungry.
Why do you hide inside these walls?

You could try using the reset sim cheat and see if that helps when the issue occurs.
Moving the counter in build mode can also help.

Hello @thewaif99
You could try recovering an earlier version of your current save game to play, that was before you adopted out the cat. To do that , go to the main screen of sims 4, and click on the " load game " button.Click on your save game file picture. Then click on the " recover game " button down the right hand side bottom of the screen,. Press on an earlier version of the save game from the menu that pops up. Then load that save game version
