Problems loading household

Everytime I try to load my household, It takes me back to the map selector. I even have a corrupt file manager, specifically made for the sims, It says I have no corrupt files and I have even repaired the game. Please help.

There has been many mods/cc broken by the latest patch

If you have cc/mods in your game, try moving your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if that helps the issues. If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem.

This was happening to me once I installed seasons. I removed all the bad CC, but it was still acting up. I disabled mods, and my game worked fine, but when I enabled them to be in my game, it still took me back to the map section. It's so annoying.

i'm having this problem after i downloaded some new cc, my game would crash so i removed the bad ones and then i tried to load my families and it gave me the error :( this is with every family and if i create a new family it still won't work. disabling mods works but i live off of the mods, everything i use is a mod even my house's furniture and my wallpaper and floorboards. i need help. i scheduled a stream time to stream the sims on youtube with my new cc, and i really don't want to cancel. help pls ;(

If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem. Put one item or batch in , test the game , take it out. Then test another one, to find the cause of the issue.
Because you have a lot of mods/cc, you could use the 50/50 method. Put half of your mods/cc into the mods folder then start the game and see if the issue is still there. If the issue is not there, then you know that those items work okay with the game. Then you can test the other half of your cc/mods.
If the issue is still there with the first half, you will need to keep testing them to see what is causing the problem. Then you will need to test the second half of your cc/mods too.

When you find the cc/mods causing the issues, you can remove that and then keep the rest of your cc/mods.
