After the last update are we suppose to make close to $4000 when harvesting one Bluebell or snapdragon plant? I got 99+ plants when I harvested one bluebell and snapdragon yet when I harvested an apple tree and strawberry plant I only got 10 plants ... Is this an issue?
Hope I explained myself correctly ...

What is occurring in your game shouldn’t be happening.
If you have cc/mods in your game, move your whole mods folder to the desktop.
Delete the cache files
https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files/
Then start the game and see if the same things occur.

Edit : Other simmers have been posting of similar things occurring in their games also.

i tried the suggestions you made to help me with my gardening problem, i removed my mods & repaired my game & deleted my cache, and i continue to have the same issue she goes to harvest the plant and in her inventory she has 99+ bluebells

Other simmers are also have gardening issues. There will soon be an update, which may help with the issue.

Same issue and I run no mods. Never have, never will. I refuse. It's broken.

Same issue I fired mine due the fact they froze to death more than once on cold sprinklers in the middle of a summer in a heatwave. Broken. Buggy. We have to wait some months for a fix and hope they can fix it.

Also can't hire a Gardener, took out all my mods and re planted a new garden and nada. so glad I saw this thread, over to the AHQ EA thread!

I have a somewhat related issue - my sim has harvest 99+ daises from gardening and now I can't do anything with the stack. I can open it and close it, but I can't move the whole stack to sell, nor can I move individual daisies from the expanded stack list.

Try having your sim travel to another lot then back home again and see if that helps the issue.

Repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair

Try removing the localthumbcache.package file from the Sims 4 folder and see if that helps

A workaround that has helped other simmers is to buy a planter pot and plant a seed in it. This has helped to register that you have a garden and so can then hire a gardener.

Thanks Rosemow for responding. I've posted in that thread at Origin twice. All of my households after Seasons has plants in a pot. That option for a gardener is grayed out.

Edit: What kind of pot and what seed? I'm curious. If it's something specific I'll try it out.

I am not sure what seed or plant simmers used but the planter pot that worked is called “Garden Pot”.

Thanks, but, it didn't work. I put 4 of the "Garden Pot" in with a seed in each and it didn't work. I choose Spring with plants that were Spring plants and calling for a gardener was grayed out still.

When your plants need attention watering, etc. Try clicking on the plant not the pot, that sometimes gives you the option to hire a gardener for that day. If the plant has hire gardener option check hire services and it may let you hire one permanently, took me several attempts to get the hire option under services.

Nope, they took that option off with the Seasons patch. It's not an option anymore. I clicked on my plant since it has weeds & needs watering, & the option for "Hire Professional Gardener" isn't there anymore. Before the Seasons patch I know it used to be an option when you clicked on one of your plants.

I rarely use a gardener but did test for the option to hire one. Clicked on plants and on planters. Used a skilled and unskilled gardener in my household. The option to hire a gardener was not there.

Is anyone else having issues with the wild plants growing when I go to a venue none of the wild plants are grown and if they are fully grown they never produce this makes it hard to get all the plants for my garden this is not an issue when I send my sim on vacation just in all the worlds my home garden grows just fine only issue is at the venues this started after I bought the pets expansion pack or the update after they released seasons not sure which because I downloaded both around the same time

There are certain seasons for plants to grow and produce a harvest. It may perhaps not be the right season?
