Please help, my game keeps crashing on startup and this never used to happen, i'd usually start the game and play but the game just shuts off, npt sure what to do..
Hello
If you have cc/mods in your game, move your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there.
Repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair
Try turning off origin in-game and see if that helps. To do that, go to Game Library in Origin . Right click on The Sims 4 picture. Click on “Game Properties”. Then untick the box that enables origin in-game
Make sure that your graphics drivers are uptodate.
If the issues remain, could you please post your DxDiag info here.
To gather a DXDIAG on your computer, do this :
Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard
You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen
Type dxdiag in the text field
Click OK
Click the Save All Information button, found on the bottom of the DXDIAG report
After you have saved your dxdiag info on your computer, go to the pastebin site https://pastebin.com
and copy/paste the dxdiag info into the white box there. Press the button to create the new paste/pastebin text file.
Then post here in this thread the web address of your dxdiag info that is on the pastebin site

Hello
I am so sorry but your computer is under the system requirements to play the game Your computer isn’t suited for gaming. It has a weaker processor than is required. It also an integrated processor video card. It is using the same computer ram along with the game , origin, windows and other programs that you have on your computer.
The computer is also 32 bit, rather than 64 bit. The hard drive space is also very low.
If you have another computer it would be best to play on that if it is has higher computer specifications.
I am so sorry
The computer doesn’t have the requirements to handle running the game well. With each new patch and /or pack , it puts added stress on the computer to run it. The game installed onto your computer and you were able to play the game on it, but now the stress on the computer has become too much for the computer to handle.
I will ask @phoebebebe13 to also advise you about your computer.
I understand what you're saying i just know i've been playing the game pretty well since last week, even after the update it sucks that all of a sudden it won't play, but thanks for your help!
I am sorry If you decide to buy a new computer, you can post here in this section of the forums, and simmers will help you to find a computer that can handle running the base game and packs both now and with added packs in the future.

@ActuallyxAnna Your laptop is way below requirements to run this game. Your lucky it ran this long. When you have an under-powered computer just a patch could do your computer in to where the game will no longer play. @rosemow is correct. Sorry for the bad news.
