Family trees & this latest patch

So family trees are a big deal with me, I like seeing the progression. This latest patch has them all messed up. Come to think of it, the ancestry side of sims has been declining in depth for the last little while. Anyways, I started a new game with the weather xpac and have had many played families grow and marry on. Well I checked one of my first families to see their growth, picking the patriarch, and the game only shows him and his wife, followed by his children. The issue is that the children and their children have had kids and passed on, yet they only show up if I click on an entirely different grouping of people. These guys are shown as a different family on the tree, almost like they're step-kids and not actually related. I know these are blood related sims but its not showing other than in the "R-tab". What up?

Me too. I miss all family members under grandkids. NO great grand kids or further down!
