  In regards to the doctor career; I know that there is a certain diagnosis that requires surgery... triple threat or something like that I think. So the more people you treat the more likely you are to need to do surgery. And also when pregnant sims come in, Which shows up as an emergency event at the hospital desk, you perform surgery on them as well. I know that it took me a lot longer to get that promotion then the rest.

  Not sure about the drinks sorry, hardly ever put bars in my homes, so I hardly ever do mixology.
  
  I think that promotion is supposed to be harder to earn. Some people seem to have talked about misdiagnosing patients in order to perform unnecessary surgeries. Not sure what that does to performance and perhaps someone can elaborate.
  
  I can confidently tell you that, I too, have issues with finding curtains to fit at times.

  Well answering to your third question, I can't seem to find perfect curtains either which makes two of us haha :D but I mostly forget curtains exist so it doesn't bother me that much.

  Have you used debug? I believe you need to use it in conjunction with the testingcheats true then type in debug while in buy mode. If I've got that wrong, hopefully someone will come along and correct it. Best of luck!

  The Pet Hygienator is a Sims 3 reward. I don’t think that there is one in Sims 4.

  Hello
  With the issue with your sims taking a drink into the bath tub, try altering the furniture around in the bathroom and see if that helps.
  If it is only occurring with one household, try evicting the Sims household then move them them back to the original home and see if the issue remains.
