Origin Won't Start-- Resolved.

I had Origin open long enough to purchase the new GP. Now, I can't get it to install said game. So I went out, (having had a similar problem in the past) and restarted my computer. That hasn't helped. So, I went into my email and clicked on getting the 'latest' version of Origin. It downloads, but it won't run. EA this is NOT the day to screw up. What is going on here?

Try shutting down your computer again completely. Then try redownloading and installing Origin,
If the issue remains, try clean booting your computer then try installing Origin

If you are unable to load Origin, you may need to uninstall and reinstall Origin.
If you can load Origin, but can’t load your game, repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair
Try deleting the cache files and see if that helps

If you have cc/mods in your game, move your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then try to start the game and see if the issues are still there.
Try turning off origin in-game and see if that helps. To do that, go to Game Library in Origin . Right click on The Sims 4 picture. Click on “Game Properties”. Then untick the box that enables origin in-game.
