I'm sorry but the friend who had the macbook sold it to someone else so I have been looking for another laptop to ask you guys about. What about the Acer aspire 15.6" HD Display Laptop (Intel Core i7-6500U 2.5 GHz, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, DVD, HDMI, WiFi, Bluetooth, Webcam, Windows 10)?

No again you need laptop specs below to meet requirements for this game

Video card Nvidia GTX 1050, 1050 ti or 1060

Processor: intel i5 or i7 quad core for gaming. These processors will end in HQ or MQ after the series number. U processors are not for gaming

Hard drive space 500gb or more. Do not get a laptop with only 256 gb hard drive or you will have space issues for updates and adding things to the game

    15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) Anti-Glare LED-Backlit Display
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050

    Will that work?

Does anyone know if the new Lenovo Legion y730 will be a good laptop? It hasn’t been released yet, but On the site it says that it will have 1050ti and 1060 options and 1tb + variations of 128, 256 and 512 go SSD options for the hard drive as well as 8-16 gb ram options. There is also these two cpu options: 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-8750H
    8th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-8300H

Wondering if this is a good laptop?
HP Pavilion 15-br082wm X360 15.6" Touchscreen 2 in 1 Laptop, Windows 10, Intel Corei5-7200U Processor, 8GB Memory, 1TB Hard Drive, and Active Pen Included, Silk Gold
It's on the Walmart website; I can't post links yet.
I'd be playing with Medium graphics I think ... that's what I'm used to.

I have an early 2015 13" Retina MacBook Pro and a Dell Inspiron 3277 All-in-One desktop computer with a touchscreen. I don't have Cats and Dogs, but Sims 4 with Get to Work, Dine Out and Get Together runs without any issues, because I have pretty much met the system requirements on both machines. I first got the game in 2015 to play on my Toshiba laptop, and it may have been slow here and there, but I turned laptop mode on in the graphics options. It sometimes can be hard to know what the heck you're doing, but keep trying until you get the hang of it.

This laptop does not meet requirements to run the game.

I’m also a fan of Acer. What Acer laptops would you recommend? @chesterbigbird also, with Asus laptops I heard that they sometimes get extremely hot/loud on load. Do you know if this is true? Because ASUS has a few computers that I looked at as well.

    Hello everyone,
I was wondering which of these laptops will run sims the best with the graphics on high/ultra, or if thats even possible on any one of these choices,

    1~Acer Aspire 7 Casual Gaming Laptop, 15.6" Full HD IPS Display, Intel 6-Core i7-8750H, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB, 8GB DDR4, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD, Fingerprint Reader, Windows 10 64bit, A715-72G-71CT

2~Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop, 15.6" Full HD IPS, Intel i7-7700HQ CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD, GeForce GTX 1060-6GB, VR Ready, Red Backlit KB, Metal Chassis, Windows 10 64-bit, G3-571-77QK

    3~Dell - G7 15.6" Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 128GB Solid State Drive + 1TB Hard Drive - Licorice Black

and then this is the third with just less RAM I think,

    4~Dell - G7 15.6" Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 8GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 256GB Solid State Drive - Licorice Black

    1 and 3 meet requirements.

2 and 4 hard drives are too small to game on. You need 500 gb hard drive space or more. EA only gives you the minimum hard drive space needed. It does not include the space you need for cc, mods, game saves ect. Your windows updates and other things you need to run windows

1 and 3 have two hard drives and you will have to install the game on the second hard drive. The hard drives on C drive have just enough room to run windows and not enough hard drive space to game on

Asus ROG ( Republic Of Gamers) are made for gaming and have excellent cooling.

You should look for a laptop that has specs below. Do your own research on the models you are looking at to check reviews for people who own the laptops you are looking to buy

Video Card: Nvidia GTX 1050, 1050 ti or 1060

Is this one good? It's on the Best Buy website.

    Samsung - Notebook 5 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce 920MX - 1TB Hard Drive - Solid black

I know you mentioned preferable NVIDIA cards but I'd be running the game on Medium (probably, it's what I'm used to). And it does adhere to EA's recommended.

Thanks for your help with this, by the way.

I'm a huge simmer and have been playing since sims bustin' out. I recently got a new laptop around this time last year, its an Acer Aspire ES 15, the specs are:

    Windows 10 (64 bit)
Intel Core i3-7100U CPU @2.40 Ghz
    8.0GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics 620 up to 4158 MB Dynamic Video Memory
    1000 GB HDD

The settings in my game are all on low and I play with laptop mod on and post processing effects and uncompressed sim textures off. My Resolution is set at the highest it can go in fullscreen, my refresh rate is set to default and V-sync is on. I also have all EP's, GP's, SP's and free content installed.

So my question is, is the game worth playing with the information i provided, and what kind of damage can i cause to my PC By playing? Also, how can I speed up my game? I am playing with scripts mods/cc but its very minimal and even playing the game vanilla its a bit slow
