Hi,
I am looking to buy a computer for the sims 4, I get completely confused when it comes to comupter and need your guys' help. I have found some computers and was wondering if they are any good. Keep in mind I don't need ultra high settings and I will be using CC and Mods
Here they are:
Hi! Sorry to hijack your post but I'm new and can't make my own thread. I've also been looking for a computer for a while and I was super close to buying an HP one but decided to order a custom made one. Taylor have you looked into that? It might be a better option. Could someone please guide me through the process of buying a custom PC? I'd like a desktop, my budget is $1000 max, and I'm in the US. Thank you!
@Taylor_M The last three are great choices. The first two links are little old. If that first one was AMD 8350 I could recommend that and depends on price. I build computers as a hobby.

I’m looking for a new laptop to play The Sims 4. My budget is $1,000 usd. I would prefer to buy local at Best Buy since I want to use cash, but may be open to other options as well. Could someone please recommend a really good laptop for me? I looked at an HP Omen 15 but didn’t know if this would be a good choice.

@chesterbigbird
My highest amount is $1000 but I might be able to wiggle a bit if it means a better computer
Also it also has to be available in Canada. (Please)
Thanks!

I'm looking to buy a computer to play Sims 4 but don't want to spend too much as i won't be using it for much else. I'm looking at the ACER Aspire C22-860 21.5" All-in-One PC but not sure how well it will run?

There are quite a few reasons that some people do not buy All in Ones, one or two of those reasons are upgradability and if the system has to be repaired you send the whole unit not just one component. It is handy if you do not have an lot of space but if you want to move to say a large display you lose out with All in Ones. However if you can live with All in Ones limitations you may be happy with it. I like the concept but I do not like the limitations that it gives.

Nothing needs to be upgraded at them moment. later on down the track you may find you might want to add a better graphics card or more ram maybe even a SSD. As it stands now it should handle the game fine.
More ram is not that expensive (between $80-$200 depending on what you get.) That's probably something i would think about getting before anything else though, most likely can hold 32GB.
I just saw this too https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/asus-rog-strix-gaming-pc-intel-core-i5-8400-1tb-hdd-128gb-ssd-8gb-ram-nvidia-gtx1050-windows-10/12468833.aspx?
Not bad for the price! It's a better cpu and added SSD

I am not really good at laptops. I have heard Hp is really bad about heat but I don't have money to test that out. I think MSI one would be better choice if you have enough for tax. The laptop is 999.99. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/msi-17-3-laptop-intel-core-i7-8gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1050-1tb-hard-drive-128gb-solid-state-drive-black/6144909.p?skuId=6144909

That's not going to be anywhere near the performance of the other, the limiting factor being the cpu.
What's your budget? so i can look further

Sorry for the late reply.. been busy. I was going to reply Yesterday but my dog started to swell and had to rush to the vet (She's fine now after having a few injections.. wasp sting.)
With that budget you may need to look at things other then Cyberpower/Ibuypower because they tend to be more expensive for lower end hardware.
I don't usually recommend HP, but this looks good and can be easily upgraded.

or this but the cpu is AMD's last gen so it's older and it's more expensive.

Sorry about the super late reply I have been so busy lately. I think I will be going with this one: http://forums.thesims.com/en_Us/home/leaving?target=https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/hp-omen-880-000-880-069-vr-ready-desktop-computer-amd-ryzen-5-1400-3-20-ghz-8gb-ddr4-sdram-1tb-hdd-windows-10-home/11447283.aspx . Could you tell me what would need to be upgraded and the approximate price if you don't mind?
Thanks have a great day/night, Taylor
