Went to download manager on Origin but the game shows unlocked for release today. EA said working on some issues but that was at 9am this morning!!!! Still will not download, am very annoyed now. Am thinking of asking for my money back and just waiting for a month to re-order.

I have a UK Origin account. I am not expecting to be able to run CL until the release at 2300 Hrs (GMT), 2nd November.
@Ashcath if your release date is given as Today (2 Nov 2016) it is likely you will have to wait until 11pm UK time to get the content.
You may have further problems after that of course. So might I. - lol

Has the release time passed for where you live in the world? Did you preorder the EP?
If the time has passed and you did preorder, try going to your orders section of origin. Check to see if it is saying " processing" .
If it is saying that, simmers have found that the issues have been fixed if they cancel the pre order then go back and buy the pack.

Try shutting down your computer completely. Then restart the computer, log into origin and see if that helps.
If the issues remain, try uninstalling and reinstalling origin and see if that helps.

I am sorry that you are having these issues.
Perhaps try deleting the origin cache files may help

Log out of origin. Then try right clicking the origin icon on the desktop and click " run as administrator " and see if that helps the issue,

I am so sorry that you are having these problems downloading the game Another simmer who had issues, set up another administrator account on their computer and was able to download it that way.
