I'm hoping this is the right place to post this. So I'm using a new computer since last month. For some reason, whenever there's a new Origin update, Origin won't open for me at all. Whenever I click my desktop icon, it tells me my computer can't find a path leading to it. Whenever I click the Sims 4 icon, it tells me Origin isn't installed on my computer at all. This happened with the last Origin update, and I had to reinstall Origin altogether. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
My only thought is it could be because of where Origin is installed to, which is my SSD card, while Sims 4 is installed on my hard drive. Could this be the case? If so, would telling Origin to re-install on my hard drive mess up my game?

You can have origin installed on one drive and your game installed on another drive, but if you are having issues, it may be best to also install origin on your hard drive also. It won’t cause issues to your game by installing origin on the hard drive.
You can do that and see if that helps with your issues.

Thank you rosemow! I'm gonna try installing it on my hard drive to see if that helps. Because I know I definitely had it set to update Origin automatically, so I'm not sure what's causing the issue.
