    Hi, Hope you are well.

I am finally buying a computer this week. After going back and forth, I finally decided on a desktop. I would prefer to purchase from Walmart or Best Buy. My budget is $700-900 USD. I would appreciate any help and recommendations.

    Thank you!

    Hello everyone
    I have a question!
    My computer
    Cpu AMD Phenom II x 4 955
    Ram 8 gb
Video card GTX 1050 2 gb
    Os win 7 64bit

my setting sims 4 ultra option postprocessing effect is off.

    I have no lag

However, when the light enters the village in the evening, the game stops for 3-4 seconds.

Is it a problem with graphics cards?
Is it a problem with cpu?

Does your sims 4 stop too?

Please somebody write thread to forum .

    i wonder the other players

    Thank you very much.

No, the game is like that when the lighting changes. For me, it kinda just lags for a second or so.

It's low end. I don't know how or even if it will run the game at all. We don't recommend AMD for laptops. AMD laptops are usually lower end and not really made for gaming

I do not see any reason it will not, however a good cooling pad can be you and the laptop friend, reason being some laptops generate a lot of heat. :)

The laptop meet requirements accept for the video card. You really need a GTX 1050 card or higher to meet recommended requirements. I don't know how the MX150 card will work with the game and it may not survive all the game add ons if you intend on adding all packs, GPs EPs . Playing with CC and mods could also be an issue with that card. The game is not complete

That laptop also has a small ssd on C drive. It's too small to game on. You would have to install the game on the second 1tb hard drive

Since you state this laptop is new, I would return it f you can and find a laptop that meets all requirements so you don't have to worry about having possible issues running this game now or in the future. Look for a laptop with a better video card Nvidia GTX 1050, 105 ti or 1060 . The laptop should be 1080p resolution 60 hz.

Should be more than fine. I don't know my way around laptop specific parts, but looks like you should either be able to max out all settings or at least set them all to pretty good.

    Hi everyone!
I'm new to this forum so I can't create my own thread. Hope it's fine that I post here.

I'm currently browsing for a new laptop since the one I have is almost dead. I want to be able to run Sims 4 with all expansion packs in the highest settings.

After reading this article picknotebook(dot)com/blog/sims-4-laptop/, I have a few specs already decided:

    - i7 (7th generation)
    - 16 GB RAM
    - Screen and battery life are not important as I play with the laptop plugged in to an Ultra HD TV.

And these are the specs I need your help on deciding what's best:

    - 7700HQ with GTX 1050M 4GB
    vs
    - 6700HQ with GTX 960M 4GB – this one is lower but will it make a difference?

    And for storage options:

    - 512GB SSD only
    vs
    - 1TB HDD + 128GB SSD combo
    vs
    - 1TB HDD only

The brands of the laptops I'm considering are ASUS Rog Strix (Model GL553VD-DM178T), Dell Inspiron Gaming (Model 5577), Dell Inspiron (Model 5559).

Thank you all for reading this far! Hope you can help.

Is it really a GTX1050m or GTX1050? I have a GTX1050 on my laptop and it runs a bit better than my 960m, and you would be able to see the difference, I think.

For the storage options, I would personally pick the 512GB SSD cuz I like to just install all the programs I use in it so it boots up faster. 128GB SSD is too small. But I'm not someone who has a lot of stuff saved. I have a 500GB SSD and have about 300GB left of space as of now.

Do you think it be able to play if I put the graphic settings low and only get 3 expansions packs . I wasnt wanting to get alot of expansion packs. It's just a shame that it meets everything else apart from the graphics card. Thanks again for getting back to me and taking time of your personal time to help. @phoebebebe13
