      Ok, try moving the Sims 4 file to your desktop (found Documents > Electronic Arts > Sims 4). Do NOT delete this file! Try starting the game up again and seeing if it still crashes. Please note you will not see any of your saved games as they will be on your Desktop at the moment.

      Report back to us and let us know if this solved the problem or not before we try other avenues.

      Have you tried completely uninstalling and then reinstalling the game? There are instructions that should be sticked at the top of this forum on how to make sure Sims 4 is completely uninstalled.

      My game is also crashing and I have absolutely no idea from what and it's kind of annoying me now

      Do you have any mods or CC? Sometimes, if they are not updated, they will cause the game to crash as they conflict with something in the game that EA may have fixed or changed. Try removing any Mods or CC and restarting your game.

      Yes, the mods may be awesome, but when EA updates the game it changes how something may work or what recognizes certain code. Many times the patches fix what mods did so that the Mods no longer work and have to be updated to work again. :)

      When you are troubleshooting you have to think of all possibilities and see where something isn't working. So to see if it is the Mods or CC causing your game to crash, you need to move them to your desktop to see if they are causing the problems.
