I think Recycle should be introduced to the Sims4 since its Echo living stuff. I mean we do recycling in the real world to help our planet become more Echo safe and friendly, why not in the Sims4:)

Unlike my expectation, Eco living stuff pack won the contest.
I hope that these thing will be in the Eco living SP.
- Spiral staircases
- Lounge chairs
- Hammocks
- Bunk beds
- Laptops
- Bathroom stalls
- Wall shower heads
- Urinals
- Rocking chairs
- (for interior design) Decks that can be used INSIDE the house, not only for outside of the house (like the one in the sims 2)
- a trempolin
- laptops
- a washing machine & a dryer and the related clutters such as detergents, fabric softeners
- irons and ironing boards, interaction : ironing clothes
- Sprinklers on the grass field
- transparent screen desktop and laptop computers
- functioning laundry racks
- Home Business (Why can't sims start business at their own place? ) like the one in the sims 2.
I am aware that some of these items may not be completely related to the theme of the next SP.
But I so badly want these things in the game.
Come on, it's about time...!!
I think the option for landscape building has to come back to Sims 4 like they did in earlier sims, to make earth homes and ponds! That along with the home syles in the begin post would be a-mazing!
I think that the spiral staircase should appear soon in the sims 4 as it is desired by many Simmern (like a round or octagonal roof form for towers too.) A compost heap should come into this set (it seems odd to me, like the Sims fruits and flowers in their inventory, suddenly become fertilizer.) Solar cells must be in this set, already because of the name. I would also be very pleased if the Swedish windows, find their way into this set (the painting is so cute) A sewing machine would not be bad for this set (for oven gloves and patchwork blankets), for once you could reuse them for an active modedesigner career. More fruits (like pumpkins) with new meals wouldn’t be bad. You should be able to make more things at the workbench (like beds, showers, sofa etc.) I think club chairs and hammocks would fit better into a holiday world with the theme of beach.
Might be a little late now since we voted, but I thought it would be cool to add new build mode items that are eco-friendly. I took a course on sustainability and would love to see it incorporated into the build mode. Large windows/windows we can open and close, water tanks to filter instead of using potable water, solar panels either as an object or roof idea, roof gardens, etc. to help lower costs. Maybe using specific materials for building, like cork flooring for example. I think it would be interesting to have recycling bins, composts, etc. Maybe plants that are native to certain towns. Using your produce for juices (which we would need juicers) and teas. I've mentioned this in several threads already :)
Also, being able to reuse or recycle items to incorporate that idea of upcycling (taking an item and making it something else with a better quality/higher value). Like turning something into handmade clothes, decorations, or furniture (to add to the retail/craft aspect ) .
---- Idea 2: Rainwater tanks for filtering water in the house for things that we don't need to use potable (drinking) water for (like toilets) or even maybe with solar heaters for showers
