Sorry to post again, but wanted to edit to mention that all of my sims also constantly have the green figure with two plus signs above their heads.
After the latest patch, the file NynaeveDesign_397 - Pokemon Kids Study - Pokemon Toy Box.package causes a LastException error. It is from NynaeveDesign's Pokemon Kids Study set on TSR. After I removed the file, my game worked again.
SaudadeSims_Simtastic_MergedSet - When a urn is sitting on top of either of the dressers in this set a ghost is unable to dive back into it at the end of the night. It will just t-pose slightly and throw an exception.

I've been through the list here and haven't found anything out of date that might be causing this.
The most recent update of UI Cheats Extension should fix this one, too. (It was updated again yesterday.) It's your Most Likely Culprit any time an update or pack causes UI issues, but there's often an update for it out before you even saw the problem.

Hi @luthienrising I just wanted to report that I use Coolspear's faster eating mod and it's working normally in my game. I play tested 4 families in an old save and a new save and I'm not having any of the issues stated on page 4. I also use MCCC and haven't received any last exception errors.

Yeah, turns out I forgot to remove the old version of the mod after moving the new one in. I always forget the mod creator has the version numbers in the file names.

@itsmegamo - You and me both :-( Remember when S2 had the oh-so-convenient trashcan in the catalog and CAS ?.....I've got so much cc that I don't have the patience to go thru 14,000 files on the S4S program and that's the only way I know for sure how to do it. Someone has suggested using the tray importer...put the bad/unwanted stuff on one made-up Sim then that program will tell you the file name of everything the Sim is wearing....and you can delete it from there? I think that's how it's supposed to work... But that doesn't work for the catalog? or does it?

@ClaimingTheFifth Omygosh YES! I'd forgotten all about the nifty trash can, it's been so long since I played Sims 2.
And, yeah, how you described it is basically how it goes. The importer shows you file names, you find them and delete them from your mods folder, then they should be gone for good, catalog and all.

@ClaimingTheFifth by catalog, if you mean build buy objects, then yes tray importer does that. Put everything you want on a empty lot and it imports those as well. Have done it myself. You can put everything you don't want anymore on one lot but you do have to delete them one by one. Less time consuming than S4S.
