"Unable to start: Can't run with the video card in this system.." Don't get why!

I've been playing the Sims 4 a LOT on this computer, today when I started the game, Origin popped up for an update, so it updated, and then I get this message when trying to run the Sims 4 right after:

"Unable to start: Can't run The Sims 4 with the video card in this system. Please check that the video card meets the minimum specifications and the latest video drivers are installed." Then there is a lot of random numbers and letters..

I don't get why this suddenly happens now?? If my computer didn't meet the games specification I wouldn't have been able to play in the first place, so what now, does it need a better computer suddenly? Or do I have to get some updates for my video drivers? I don't know how to do these things :'( The game has ran smoothly for weeks.. So sad.. I want to go back to Sims 3 now... Please, help? <3

That card is indeed not compatible with the game. It has no memory at all. The game requires 128MB of dedicated video memory, and that is often not enough in practice. Your driver is also many, many years out of date.

You'll find system requirements for the game here: https://help.ea.com/ca/article/the-sims-4-system-requirements/ Don't bother putting money into just minimum requirements. Our experience here is that they really aren't good enough. If you're buying a desktop, aim for at least recommended requirements; if a laptop, you'll want higher than that.

@H_An_T123 Unfortunately your computer is integrated CPU/GPU and not meant or designed for gaming. It's meant for browsing the web and light computer tasks but does not meet the requirements to play the game.

@rhiannon_may since you have a stronger processor I'm assuming you have dual video cards. You did not post what your video card is. Have you tried this ? http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/776882/sims-4-and-switchable-graphics-how-to-nvidia-amd/p1

@phoebebebe13 My apologies, I'm not sure how to find it. I clicked on the link you suggested and it is still doing the same thing unfortunately

windows key + R Key . In the run box type DxDiag. Hit ok let it load and save the text file to desktop. Copy and paste the report here. You will have to do this in sections in several posts. The report is long and will not fit in one post

@rhiannon_may I think your missing part of your display devices section. I googled your make and model laptop and I think you have an Nvidia GT 630m card along with intel. I need to see more of the display device section Thanks
