Hey, is there anyway to fix this issue with my pools?
I have tried all game settings via graphics and still the same.

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

When my sister had that problem with water in the Sims 3, it was her graphic card. I bought her a new one & it was fixed. Don't know if that is your problem or not, but just thought I would mention it.

Yeah problem is you can't see the decals you put in the water when its like this or where you're putting the lights. It works fine on my desktop pc and though the game runs smooth and beautiful on my laptop, the water looks like this.

I had the same problem, I fixed it by lowering my lighting setting to low.

It might be your video card. I had a similar problem in TS2 or TS3, I can't remember now, it was quite a while ago, but buying a better video card worked for me.

If you have 'laptopmode' switched on try and switch this off in the game options.

Sorry if my English isn't up to scratch, I am from The Netherlands. :)

Nothing is working. I cannot afford a new card for my laptop either. Ah.. this sucks.
It's weird because sometimes, at different viewing levels, it goes back normal. It sometimes spontaneously turns see through and then unclear.

Okay. UPDATE. I tried to turn the lighting all the way down and laptop mode off, this didn't work.. until I turned the game off and back on. It seems clear now. Thanks for the enthusiastic help, guys.

@MOLLYG1997 what's your video card, I myself don't find the water that clear but I can see the decals

Like the baby glitch. Perhaps it's another bug that EA needs to address too. To fix it like they did with the demon babies.

I have fixed it now, but all I know about my laptop graphics card is that its:
    Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000

    I think...

Perhaps if you would all bathe your Sims, the pool would stop being so dirty...

It might vary. Some people might not have a good enough graphics, while some, like me, had my setting in the game set so the water wasn't showing properly.
