I'm having a bit of free time, so I'm getting back into the site. Just in time, too, as I see a lot has changed. A lot of stuff is priced lower. Some PC is now available in the store, not to mention the daycare venue from Aurora Skies. The "Make Me An Offer" system sure surprised me, :shock: though nothing has piqued me yet. Plus, there's a new set today :!: I quite like a few of the build items, too, they're things I've been wanting. (Most recently while building my 1st resort. I just couldn't get a roof to look right, & I was going for a royally oniony thingy like that.)
It makes me want to see if I've missed anything on the TS4 front. Prob'ly not so soon, but ya' never know.
Anyway, I'm well into my x-mas shopping. Think I'm about done, but for 1; the enigma I call my mother, (It's hard to pick her, 'cuz she knows me too well, & I'm always trying to remain discreet/sneaky about it. 8) ), & 2; Cards, which I don't normally do, but I feel would be nice this year.
No new pics. I haven't played in weeks, but I intend to start the game up & see what's new since the update, or if anything's new in shop mode, so maybe soon.

One of my favourite things in this game is building & tweaking a garden. Amazing to me that I didn't discover how awesome it was sooner. Once I found out that you can use the sprinkler instead of hand-watering everything, there was no stopping me.
I use the Story Progression mod from Nraas. I find it gives me an effortless backing framework for my game, & it's more likely that my sims can find a mate when I want.

I've always dreamed of a library of my own. I'd love my books to be all about in their own space. As it is, the ones I have with me are stacked 2 rows back on their shelves, & with others laying on top of those.

I'm very excited about the new world, Roaring Heights. Set in the 1930s? It will be PERFECT for Baron & Jade to move to, after I get them married off. That will be a while; Jade wants a Spring Wedding & we haven't yet reached Spooky Day. A long engagement. They've (ahem) anticipated the wedding night, but Mom & Dad don't know. Alex & Gala have to marry first. Gala is really very exotic and lovely; I'm glad she ended up with Alex. Her mouth is a little exaggerated, but she has these gorgeous golden eyes, high cheekbones... I can't wait to see the grandbabies!!
VonHentzau I used a young adult sprite and made her look like a teen so she could live alone and hold a job instead of going to school and she was only living in the city because she started running out of money and had to get a job the earn some.
honeyhoney8 I was using NRaas Mods until the patch and tried to get them back in,but my game was too badly glitched by the patch and I've had to do without for now until I can be sure EA's SP is actually turning off in other games and it seems to be off.I'll try again once I've done with some things I wanted to finish up.

It's TadOlson and I've noticed a very weird pattern in my main games where EA's SP messages haven't shown up for several weeks now in Winfield and none have been seen in the other game since I started there.It looks like EA's SP stopped functioning like it was turned on and I saw in my options menu that it was fully turned off.

I recently played the sims after installing IP, but I got the resort bug, when my sims check in , the game feezes.Other than that, its playing fine.
Wow, these sales are amazing, aren't they? My wonderful man says there'll be a little money for the hourly sales Sunday, so I'll get my collection a bit more complete.
Amazon has ItF (the PC/Mac version on CD) for $30, if anybody is curious.
Thanksgiving was really good. I'm barely able to keep my eyes open today after gorging so much on turkey. It's been a long time since we had the full meal deal with turkey and trimmings, so I went a little crazy. It came out perfectly. We're nibbling on cornmeal cake right now before bed. I'm glad to hear everybody's doing all right!

I've got something on my game and I found out why I wasn't getting the notification of SP popping up.It turned out that I'd disabled celebrities,pets and horses before turning EA's SP off.It dosen't bother me to have it off except when I couldn't figure out why I was getting no messages.
TadOlson - oh my, that'll do it. Glad you figured it out! I was thinking you'd just turned something off without realizing it. Hope you're feeling better.
Simmelina1 - I don't use that dress often, but I should start! It looks lovely on Mira. And the baby is cute
Sammymcgoff - ambitious They look fine to me. I think it'd be a blast to do it all in one save though, myself! Smoothing over all those feelings and making them all friends afterward. There's this tiny little Sim in red on my right shoulder telling me that'd be fun.
I finally got Fast Lane Stuff reinstalled; I'd been worried it was causing issues, but I think the lag I'd detected was more "having oodles of stuff in inventory" than FLS. Cross your fingers. I picked up a couple things in the sales last night and will be having fun with them today!

I'm so sorry that I haven't been on the forum I've just had so much going on since I was last on here. My Dad died and I have still been going through so much over my Moms estate! It's just unbelievable that all this is still dragging out and now I am going through stuff over my Dad.
Now here's the other big news since I've been on here my hubby and I went back to Texas and we did buy a house. We have the movers coming on Thursday and plan on being on the road early Friday. So I will soon be a Texan. I have worked and worked trying to get things packed but when you have lived some where as long as I have then it's almost impossible so I will have help Thursday and my Granddaughter is flying in from Florida Wednesday so that she can drive our car for us and our son is driving the truck we could have flown but hey when you haven't moved or seen that much of the US why not take the adventure all the way, lol

I went to my inlaws and had a wonderful time. The hubby bought a new (used) camera and was snapping pics. most are blurry because he has yet to figure out the lense and fancy features, but the good shots look AWESOME~!

My MIL and i were cooking up a storm, seemed like at least half my time there was in the kitchen. it was nice though working with her..felt like having a mom.
The kiddo played with his cousin and they are so fun to watch together. both don't play much with other kids. His cousin is on the autism spectrum and doesn't socialize much..but with my kiddo he is just enamored with my son and goes along with what he does and they really communicate with each other. It's wonderful for both of them so when we go down there we try to get them together as much as possible.
They both play minecraft, so when they play togethor they don't play the video game , they play REAL LIFE mine craft...basically they role play..so i got a roleplay kit for them to share to keep at grandmas. It has a toy sword and pick ax and has the stone and torch from the game. So now they can really play RL minecraft. I got it on sale too They had a bundle special on Think Geek.\
Anyway in sims world, My simmies are much less stressed out than I am. They don't realize their life is being wasted by repeated crashes!
At least each time i had recently saved. But it is getting annoying. Recently though the crashes were while travelling to the future. Bummed about that! I thought for once travelling was working. Not sure if i will even travel to the future if it's gonna mess up on me.
I DO like ITF though. It's pretty amusing to go to the future. it made a great day trip for Odessa Winchester ( Midnight Hollow). She was just in awe of the new gadgets. It was so different and she found the perfect dress. She will definitely bring the new fashion knowledge to MH. (shes a stylist.) Then she met her descendents and for the first time, my sims descendants arn't butt ugly! lol the last sims familys were unfortunate!
Unfortunately i don't think that actually was saved because i crashed
So when i sent her home, She went and changed her look for a party. She is dating Poirot, the mime in MH. So i made her into an acrobat(just in looks). i love how she looks.
and she wrote to her love , i love this added feature. And i love her makeup.
I have been building too. I made a nice little cafe to go in the Custom world , Morreaux. It is the Quarter Market Cafe. And it's supposed to look like the french market, in NOLA. Some. I am going to make a flea market too.But had to do it on another lot.
oh! BD i didn't not even see you post! I admit I did not even see you post before i posted. I am so sending you my love right now. That moment when you realize you are now with out your parents is a really odd feeling. :::big HUGS:: and the process is such a mess to go through, but i know you can and will get through it. The texas move is probably exciting but so stressful. Moving across country is not an easy task, especially with a bunch of stuff, a whole house full. Good luck with everything, hope nothing breaks! May the drive up there be pleasant and safe!
