Before I get into detailed comments, I thought I'd apprise you of the current situation. All the relationships are back in place and so far, they're holding steady. So, I'm still thinking it was the traveling. Min Wei also earned her orange belt back, and Ning Shui got his yellow belt. And now onto the big one. Sun is pregnant again. I saved before her and Daniel...went to work, and I used Save As, just in case it's a boy or worse twins. But the tune played, so it's something. Now, comes the waiting. But hopefully, Aria is on her way again.
Hello fellow friends and simmers. I know I have been away for ages. My computer is up and running. I have finally installed the Sims 3 game, expansion packs, and other things. I have been trying to get things straightened out.
As for myself. I am doing good. Everything is well and good at my end.

@CursedDice: Your sims look great so far. Melody looks nice. I'm sorry to hear about your game being practically unplayable. Did you try clearing your caches in your sims three folder to reduce lag? I do that when my game starts to get a little laggy and it helps.

Hello again. The server for my wi-fi dropped out last night, so I had no internet until today. Sorry about that.
I'll do a quick catch up and a sort of flashback updated due to a hiccup with my computer. (I'll explain in a bit.)
sealofthesims: Thank you, and yeah, I find old outhouses funny too. Probably because I enjoy a little outhouse humour. I'm 26 and find farts funny, I'm sorry *not really*. Yeah, I'm finding that there are a lot of critics regarding Architecture. Chris has the 'Great Architect' LTW to have 100 top scores and has zero so far. I try hard and get nothing!
Colorist40: I hope I wasn't one of the ones who ignored you. If so I apologise. (knowing my luck I am. :oops: ) Last time this thread was about (and reached like 1000 pages) I did ignore a fair few people, and it's something I'm trying to avoid doing again. (and failing miserably.) But if you still feel that you've had enough, then good luck and have fun simming, but if you can do drop in and hang out a little.

Friendlyone20: I hate things like that. I'm not much of a fan of cliffhangers myself, but if the writer goes for that route I at least let them do the conclusion and see how I feel about it then. (sometimes it works out, other times it doesn't.) But yeah, that's a rude way to comment on it!
Plus, as Celiria says, it's a game to play and have fun with, however you wish.

O-meezy: Athena's a cutie, although at the baby stage they all have similar looks. I hate that. You think, aww she's adorable! Then they age up and somehow gain a massive nose or something. I'm not insulting the kid, she's cute don't get me wrong, but EA/ Maxis should figure a way to introduce genetics very early on to ensure we can see what we're getting. *Seriously though, cute kid.*

Phew! I think I'm caught up. Again the internet was off last night, so this is a brief little catch up.
I kind of messed up the timeline with the legacy. I had uploaded all of the pics yesterday from the second to last update, or something like that. So as I had a good 1000 pics from very early on in the legacy I decided to delete the old stuff, from like 1 to 53 or so. Dumb move. Because when Chris went to his third remodel, and I took pics, the computer labeled them from 1 to 53. I assumed they were the old stuff and accidentaly skipped over them.
So here's a quick update about how Chris met his fiancee.
Johann and Sidney talk about food before getting ready for work. Sidney wants to become a writer.
So off she shoots to the library to work on a Sci-Fi novel.
Chris and Connie chat about being witches.

I did say that I will post on those I have been following you included, and I will post a link to my blog when it is up and running. It will take a while as I have to do background on all the characters, before I can restart the storyline. I need to do this for anybody who hasn't been reading the story sooo maybe a day or two.

Oh, cops...dear me. I had a cop in the last thread, early into the legacy, who kept hanging around so he could get a drink out of the keg the family had. At least he actually TRIED to catch the criminal! I didn't notice the hat until you said. None of Chris's clients have given him full approval yet. Shame. Some people are never pleased, tsk!
Now to the proper update, rather than a flashback. Johann gets more special eggs.

Johann gets promoted to Filing Clerk and gets a new uniform. I'm not going to change it as he'll be leaving after Chris's wedding.
I forget his name, but Chris has to fix up his bedroom. I manage to get Chris to discover any traits to boost the score. He's a bookworm, so I decide to put a little something extra in the room.
The new bedroom, with a new bookcase. It boosts the score but isn't enough for a full 100%.
Christian then gets a job for another Lady's den, and with this one I went nuts basically. I spent all the cash available and splashed out on the Television.
The client is so fat she clips through her own arms!
"I like it a lot. The paintings are lovely, and I adore the tv. Other than that, it's okay I guess."
One 100% score? Please?
Yikes! I think Chris's eventual son should be a fashion designer! Eek!
Because Jan and Salina gained a good $1000, I decided to give them a nice little seating area in their bedroom.

Just a bit of insight :
Naomi Nagai is a Vampyr with scientific genius knowledge that landed her the top [ Mad scientist ] spot in the Lab. She was created without the use of ANY mods what so ever...
She lives in the most northern farmland where it's very cold and has little sun, despite being an immortal she still prefers the dark. Her butler is the only one who knows her true nature and has advised her to try online dating.
Unfortunately for her though she has had little success, donning her glasses just so she'll look more human and be accepted within the community. Though very shy her friends make her happy and Joey, the Butler, is always around when she needs him, despite him been scared sometimes by the things she says and does.
Before Naomi had Joey... She had bitten 3 of the residents, he showed her there's another way, and together they concocted a substitute that Naomi wont have to bite the humans any more for sustenance.

Well it seems my one to two days comment was premature. I ended up getting my writing done sooner than expected so here is the next chapter.
Chapter 8- Mental Breakdown
Bianca and Tony were by Dani’s side in a flash as the tears rolled down her cheeks.
Bianca: Just relax Dani, it’s okay.
Dani tried to respond but couldn’t speak past the tears forcing their way out of her body.
Bianca: Tony get her something to drink
Tony rushed over to the sink to fill a paper cup with water only to find the faucet wasn’t working. So he went to the fridge only to find it empty aside from the remains of a loaf of bread and some yogurt.
Tony: There’s nothing to drink here Mom, help me get here over to our house
As Bianca and Tony helped Dani to her feet she briefly tried to protest the need for help but the sobs raking her body wouldn’t let her.
Tony: Just relax Dani, just come with us and we’ll get you something to calm you down.
Once there Bianca sat her down on the couch while Tony got her some water.
Dani gratefully gulped down the water though it didn’t do much to calm her down.
Bianca wrapped her arms around Dani.
Bianca: There, there. It will be okay. Just relax.
Dani’s sobs gradually weakened as she drifted off to sleep, the effort of the constant sobbing slowly wearing her out.
Bianca slipped a pillow under Dani’s head and went over the kitchen table where Tony was sitting.
Bianca: Tony could you keep an eye on her for a bit while I go look at something.
Tony nodded as he moved over to next to where Dani rested.
Several minutes later Bianca returned.
Tony: So where did you go off to?
Bianca: I went to look around Dani’s house, I wanted to see if there was anything that would explain what just happened.
Tony: So what do you think happened?
Bianca: My guess, I think she had a mental breakdown.
Tony: No way, not Dani. She’s one of the toughest and most stubborn people I know. There’s no way she would breakdown like that.
Bianca: You’d be surprised.
Bianca guided Tony over to the table and sat across from him.
Bianca: For one thing I don’t think she’s been eating, at least not much. I was curious after you said there was nothing for her to drink over there so I went to look. Based on the damage under the sink it looks like her faucet hasn’t been working for a couple of weeks at least, and she has next to nothing in her fridge other than some yogurt and bread. On top of that I checked her room and it looks like she hasn’t slept there for at least a few days. Has she mentioned anything about this kind of thing to you?
Tony looked alarmed
Tony: No, not at all.
Bianca: Nothing? No money troubles? Nothing that might be stressing her out?
Tony: Not that she’s mentioned? All she has said to me about money is that she’s saving up for college.
Bianca sighed
Bianca: Based on all that I am positive it was a mental breakdown. She’s not eating well, probably because most of her money is going towards her college saving, she’s likely not sleeping well, and this whole incident with her family probably didn’t help matters.
Bianca: What about work? You usually handle scheduling for part time employees since I’m mostly in the kitchen cooking. What kind of hours has she been doing.
Tony: As said, she was saving for college so she was taking on quite a few shifts to earn the money.
Bianca’s raised her eyebrows.
Bianca: How many is quite a few?
Tony: I’m not sure off the top of my head but she’s usually there right after school through around 7pm. Then we usually do homework together before walking home.
Bianca stared in shock
Bianca: She’s been doing 5 hour shifts every day? I don’t know how she has kept it together this long with only weekends to relax.
Tony started to look nervous realizing he had messed up.
Tony: Actually she has been working weekends as well. Usually for most of the day.
Bianca shot to her feet
Bianca: What is wrong with you?!! Why would you let her work that much?!!
Tony: I knew she was living on her own and figured she wanted the extra hours to help get by. I suggested she tone it down a bit but she said she was fine. She seemed okay so I didn’t worry about it.
Bianca: Tony I know you were trying to help her out and all but that isn’t healthy. Not on top of school and homework. It really is a wonder she made it this long without falling apart, as tough as she may be that type of schedule would be tough on anyone. Especially when they aren’t eating or sleeping well.
Tony put his head in his hands realizing the reality of what he had done
Tony: It’s all my fault… I should have seen this coming, I should have been firmer in trying to get her to take some time off to relax. It’s just like… She just seemed so determined, I thought I was helping out, but I’ve just been making her life worse.
Bianca pulled Tony to his feet and wrapped her arms around him.
Bianca: Don’t beat yourself to much over this. I know you were just trying to help her. The important thing though is that you understand where you went wrong so you can fix it in the future. But beating yourself up over past mistakes isn’t going to help anyone. Right now we just need to focus on what to do for her going forward. You are right that she’s stubborn, she probably won’t like cutting back. But if we let her keep this up she’s going to destroy herself.
Tony started to cry
Tony: I should have seen this coming, It’s just like what happened to dad… It’s all my fault, I should have seen it coming.
A tear slipped down Bianca’s cheek
Bianca: It will be okay honey, we found out early enough that we can help. Now just calm down. You can’t help Dani if you’re stressed out yourself so just relax and go to bed.
After Tony had left Bianca settled down next to Dani on the couch tears now flowing freely.
Bianca: *to herself* It is just like it was with you Phillip. But I can’t let it go that far. Not again.
She looked down at Dani and ran her hand along the young girls tearstained face.
Dani just mumbled in her sleep as another tear rolled down her cheek
Dani: Ryn

Back with another update on my legacy called the girl who loved to blog! So, mya met a guy named Jacob Black and now they are boyfriend and girlfriend. Jacob has invited mya to a lot of parties and she has enjoyed them. They even took a romantic pic together.
Well, my hiatus was shorter than I expected. I don't care what Aria looks like. I'm just happy to have it fixed up again. So, here's my update.
Even if he's not the best martial artist, Ning Shui still wants to beat Adam at it. He's about a belt behind, but he figures he'll be way stronger than his older brother. so, he heads to the gym to pump a lot of iron. Not sure who to say "look out" to.
After all the time of cuddling Aria, Sun decides to show Xiao Jing a little love too. After all, she was Sun's girl before Aria or even Min Wei were born. Seems she's holding Xiao Jing like a baby out of habit, but I wouldn't put my hand under her tail. Looks like Sun's thinking the same thing.
And it's not a school day, so Ning Shui is busy chatting with Grace. Not sure what he'd have to say, but he must be able to think of a few things. Just so long as he doesn't blow it, although Adam still probably wouldn't complain if he did.
Later, he and Adam share a few words over breakfast. Maybe Ning Shui is thinking of going into medicine like his grandfather. That would probably be the rebel thing since Daniel's a rock star. "I'm going to rebel against dad and get an education." Of course, Daniel did go to college too. And Xiao Jing, like a typical pet, wants fed.
Speaking of Daniel, he's out painting the town something. Actually, he's on commission from City Hall, so this time, he can't be arrested for it. Nice little loophole there.
With another mouth to feed, the kids all take part time jobs to earn a little more. With Sun on leave and Daniel not making a whole lot on a daily basis, it's got to come in somewhere. Adam takes a job at the graveyard. What might this experience lead him to?
Even with a job and a girl, Ning Shui just won't relent when it comes to getting in trouble. He first pranked the school by flooding the place, and lo and behold, he got away with it. Now, he's back again. He decides to toilet paper the offices. Oh, what a little stinker he is. Sun might have to change his name to Xiǎo xiǎoguǐ, which means "little imp."
We knew this day would come. Ning Shui not only gets caught in school, he gets busted too. And who should be waiting for him when he gets home but his mother. I bet this made Sun's day when the cops marched her son up to the door.
She sure yelled too. I imagine it would have gone down like this.
Sun: "I cannot believe you, Ning Shui! I just can't believe you! Wǒ zuò zài jiāli, shìtú zhàogù yīng'ér, zhè shì wǒ dédào de láidiàn!" (I'm sitting at home, trying to look after a baby, and this is the call I get!)
Ning Shui: "Mom, you know I don't speak Chinese."
Sun: "Nǐ bì zuǐ! You shut up!" At this point, Sun would be pacing back and forth. "Wǒ hé nǐ bàba zài nǎlǐ chū wèntí? Wǒ zhǐshì bù zhīdào gāi zěnme bàn nǐle. Zài wǒ de jiārén, wǒmen cónglái méiyǒu zhèyàng de shìqíng, zài zhèlǐ nǐ qù, gěi wǒ, nǐ de fùqīn, hé dàjiā yì yàng gěi nǐ yīgè bù hǎo de míngzì." Basically, she's asking where she and Daniel went wrong, saying they don't know what to do with him, and that her family never pulled what he does, and he's giving the entire family a bad name.
All the while, Ning Shui is just standing there wondering what she's saying about him. But anyway, to make it short and sweet, he got so grounded.
And later, Ning Shui managed to make up with Sun. He did enough work around the house to be let off the hook. Not that he really deserved it, but I guess even Ning Shui deserves a chance. Anyway, Adam heads out to the graveyard. Kinda hard to believe that's his career outfit. It's not gym class you know.
Even later, Adam tries his hand at fixing the broken washing machine, and he gets the shock of his life. I bet he went right up to tell Ning Shui about it.
"Hey bro, you gotta try this. It's awesome. I can't feel anything on the right side."
Anyway, the next day, Ning Shui is feeling the urge to cause more trouble. So, what does he do this time, you may ask. He decides to see if he can beat his little sister at martial arts. He finds Min Wei and challenges her to a match. I bet he probably kept hounding her too it, and he's probably thinking he can win too.
After all the hounding, Min Wei relents. Now, where's Sun or Daniel to tell them, "not in the house." Guess they should have gone outside or into Sun's academy first. But they spar right in the living room. Min Wei actually showed him too. Ning Shui never knew what hit him. Now, of course, Min Wei is too proper to actually fight, but he started it.
Ning Shui doesn't let his defeat get him down. He then quickly gets on his podium and starts yelling out his love for Grace. Min Wei can only look on wondering if she doesn't know her own strength since, as you can see, Grace isn't there.

Good question. No, it's not unheard of at all. Some stories actually do that, whether it's a scientific sim telling others that life's just a computer program, or the whole story is written similar to Toy Story. Such Sims stories are often the funniest to read XD

It looks like the Jankowkys will get their caravan home up before the real bad weather sets in and they'll also have over 20000$ in cash.The local graveyard will get some more work done soon and will have openings for jobs.They are still harvesting the garden plants for a while yet and the tall fences are keeping the wildlife out.
Eli and Ami were obviously working hard to get enough money to finish their house and didn't want to take any breaks until the house got done.
Eli bought more framing and drywall for the house with some of the day's earnings.
The Jankowskys were rushing to get to sleep in their sleeping bags after getting home and getting more done on the house before it got too late.

Fast forward a few days later and Athena is ready to turn into a teen and the family threw a huge party that was crashed by a few zombies.
And she ended up looking pretty good.
Then fast forward a few more days and shes ready to age up again. Children a teens have a short time span in my game so they age up quickly.

Yeah, I'm finding that there are a lot of critics regarding Architecture. Chris has the 'Great Architect' LTW to have 100 top scores and has zero so far. I try hard and get nothing!

(knowing my luck I am. :oops: ) Last time this thread was about (and reached like 1000 pages) I did ignore a fair few people, and it's something I'm trying to avoid doing again. I'm not insulting the kid, she's cute don't get me wrong, but EA/ Maxis should figure a way to introduce genetics very early on to ensure we can see what we're getting. *Seriously though, cute kid.*

Phew! I think I'm caught up. Again the internet was off last night, so this is a brief little catch up.
I kind of messed up the timeline with the legacy. I had uploaded all of the pics yesterday from the second to last update, or something like that. So as I had a good 1000 pics from very early on in the legacy I decided to delete the old stuff, from like 1 to 53 or so. Dumb move. Because when Chris went to his third remodel, and I took pics, the computer labeled them from 1 to 53. I assumed they were the old stuff and accidentaly skipped over them.
So here's a quick update about how Chris met his fiancee.
Johann and Sidney talk about food before getting ready for work. Sidney wants to become a writer.
So off she shoots to the library to work on a Sci-Fi novel.
Chris and Connie chat about being witches.

Oh, cops...dear me. I had a cop in the last thread, early into the legacy, who kept hanging around so he could get a drink out of the keg the family had. At least he actually TRIED to catch the criminal!
Now to the proper update, rather than a flashback. Johann gets more special eggs.
Johann and the family go to the festival and dance.
He stepped on her toes after this, like 3 times!
Jan and Salina dance, while Chris's best friend asks him for a slow dance. Awkward, considering he's getting married soon.
Christian and Johann bond, and Chris announces hi engagement.
Jan and Salina get a gig at the dive bar.
Christian prepares a spaghetti.
While Salina gets paid for the gig. Now Jan and Salina are Dive Bar Headliners, level 4 in the career.
Christian overcooks the meal, oops.
Sidney gets promoted to Small Time Scribe and gets an annual payment of about $80 for her first book.
The dining room gets an update.
Johann gets promoted to Filing Clerk and gets a new uniform. I'm not going to change it as he'll be leaving after Chris's wedding.
I forget his name, but Chris has to fix up his bedroom. I manage to get Chris to discover any traits to boost the score. He's a bookworm, so I decide to put a little something extra in the room.
The new bedroom, with a new bookcase. It boosts the score but isn't enough for a full 100%.
Christian then gets a job for another Lady's den, and with this one I went nuts basically. I spent all the cash available and splashed out on the Television.
The client is so fat she clips through her own arms!
"I like it a lot. The paintings are lovely, and I adore the tv. Other than that, it's okay I guess."
One 100% score? Please?
Yikes! I think Chris's eventual son should be a fashion designer! Eek!
Because Jan and Salina gained a good $1000, I decided to give them a nice little seating area in their bedroom.

Just a bit of insight :
Naomi Nagai is a Vampyr with scientific genius knowledge that landed her the top [ Mad scientist ] spot in the Lab. She was created without the use of ANY mods what so ever...
She lives in the most northern farmland where it's very cold and has little sun, despite being an immortal she still prefers the dark. Her butler is the only one who knows her true nature and has advised her to try online dating.
Unfortunately for her though she has had little success, donning her glasses just so she'll look more human and be accepted within the community. Though very shy her friends make her happy and Joey, the Butler, is always around when she needs him, despite him been scared sometimes by the things she says and does.

Chapter 8- Mental Breakdown
Bianca and Tony were by Dani’s side in a flash as the tears rolled down her cheeks.
Bianca: Just relax Dani, it’s okay.
Dani tried to respond but couldn’t speak past the tears forcing their way out of her body.
Bianca: Tony get her something to drink
Tony rushed over to the sink to fill a paper cup with water only to find the faucet wasn’t working. So he went to the fridge only to find it empty aside from the remains of a loaf of bread and some yogurt.
Tony: There’s nothing to drink here Mom, help me get here over to our house
As Bianca and Tony helped Dani to her feet she briefly tried to protest the need for help but the sobs raking her body wouldn’t let her.
Tony: Just relax Dani, just come with us and we’ll get you something to calm you down.
Once there Bianca sat her down on the couch while Tony got her some water.
Dani gratefully gulped down the water though it didn’t do much to calm her down.
Bianca wrapped her arms around Dani.
Bianca: There, there. It will be okay. Just relax.
Dani’s sobs gradually weakened as she drifted off to sleep, the effort of the constant sobbing slowly wearing her out.
Bianca slipped a pillow under Dani’s head and went over the kitchen table where Tony was sitting.
Bianca: Tony could you keep an eye on her for a bit while I go look at something.
Tony nodded as he moved over to next to where Dani rested.
Several minutes later Bianca returned.
Tony: So where did you go off to?
Bianca: I went to look around Dani’s house, I wanted to see if there was anything that would explain what just happened.
Tony: So what do you think happened?
Bianca: My guess, I think she had a mental breakdown.
Tony: No way, not Dani. She’s one of the toughest and most stubborn people I know. There’s no way she would breakdown like that.
Bianca: You’d be surprised.
Bianca guided Tony over to the table and sat across from him.
Bianca: For one thing I don’t think she’s been eating, at least not much. I was curious after you said there was nothing for her to drink over there so I went to look. Based on the damage under the sink it looks like her faucet hasn’t been working for a couple of weeks at least, and she has next to nothing in her fridge other than some yogurt and bread. On top of that I checked her room and it looks like she hasn’t slept there for at least a few days. Has she mentioned anything about this kind of thing to you?
Tony looked alarmed
Tony: No, not at all.
Bianca: Nothing? No money troubles? Nothing that might be stressing her out?
Tony: Not that she’s mentioned? All she has said to me about money is that she’s saving up for college.
Bianca sighed
Bianca: Based on all that I am positive it was a mental breakdown. She’s not eating well, probably because most of her money is going towards her college saving, she’s likely not sleeping well, and this whole incident with her family probably didn’t help matters.
Bianca: What about work? You usually handle scheduling for part time employees since I’m mostly in the kitchen cooking. What kind of hours has she been doing.
Tony: As said, she was saving for college so she was taking on quite a few shifts to earn the money.
Bianca’s raised her eyebrows.
Bianca: How many is quite a few?
Tony: I’m not sure off the top of my head but she’s usually there right after school through around 7pm. Then we usually do homework together before walking home.
Bianca stared in shock
Bianca: She’s been doing 5 hour shifts every day? I don’t know how she has kept it together this long with only weekends to relax.
Tony started to look nervous realizing he had messed up.
Tony: Actually she has been working weekends as well. Usually for most of the day.
Bianca shot to her feet
Bianca: What is wrong with you?!! Why would you let her work that much?!!
Tony: I knew she was living on her own and figured she wanted the extra hours to help get by. I suggested she tone it down a bit but she said she was fine. She seemed okay so I didn’t worry about it.
Bianca: Tony I know you were trying to help her out and all but that isn’t healthy. Not on top of school and homework. It really is a wonder she made it this long without falling apart, as tough as she may be that type of schedule would be tough on anyone. Especially when they aren’t eating or sleeping well.
Tony put his head in his hands realizing the reality of what he had done
Tony: It’s all my fault… I should have seen this coming, I should have been firmer in trying to get her to take some time off to relax. It’s just like… She just seemed so determined, I thought I was helping out, but I’ve just been making her life worse.
Bianca pulled Tony to his feet and wrapped her arms around him.
Bianca: Don’t beat yourself to much over this. I know you were just trying to help her. The important thing though is that you understand where you went wrong so you can fix it in the future. But beating yourself up over past mistakes isn’t going to help anyone. Right now we just need to focus on what to do for her going forward. You are right that she’s stubborn, she probably won’t like cutting back. But if we let her keep this up she’s going to destroy herself.
Tony started to cry
Tony: I should have seen this coming, It’s just like what happened to dad… It’s all my fault, I should have seen it coming.
A tear slipped down Bianca’s cheek
Bianca: It will be okay honey, we found out early enough that we can help. Now just calm down. You can’t help Dani if you’re stressed out yourself so just relax and go to bed.
After Tony had left Bianca settled down next to Dani on the couch tears now flowing freely.
Bianca: *to herself* It is just like it was with you Phillip. But I can’t let it go that far. Not again.
She looked down at Dani and ran her hand along the young girls tearstained face.
Dani just mumbled in her sleep as another tear rolled down her cheek
Dani: Ryn

Even if he's not the best martial artist, Ning Shui still wants to beat Adam at it. He's about a belt behind, but he figures he'll be way stronger than his older brother. so, he heads to the gym to pump a lot of iron. Not sure who to say "look out" to.

After all the time of cuddling Aria, Sun decides to show Xiao Jing a little love too. After all, she was Sun's girl before Aria or even Min Wei were born. Seems she's holding Xiao Jing like a baby out of habit, but I wouldn't put my hand under her tail. Looks like Sun's thinking the same thing.

And it's not a school day, so Ning Shui is busy chatting with Grace. Not sure what he'd have to say, but he must be able to think of a few things. Just so long as he doesn't blow it, although Adam still probably wouldn't complain if he did.

Later, he and Adam share a few words over breakfast. Maybe Ning Shui is thinking of going into medicine like his grandfather. That would probably be the rebel thing since Daniel's a rock star. "I'm going to rebel against dad and get an education." Of course, Daniel did go to college too. And Xiao Jing, like a typical pet, wants fed.

Speaking of Daniel, he's out painting the town something. Actually, he's on commission from City Hall, so this time, he can't be arrested for it. Nice little loophole there.

With another mouth to feed, the kids all take part time jobs to earn a little more. With Sun on leave and Daniel not making a whole lot on a daily basis, it's got to come in somewhere. Adam takes a job at the graveyard. What might this experience lead him to?

Even with a job and a girl, Ning Shui just won't relent when it comes to getting in trouble. He first pranked the school by flooding the place, and lo and behold, he got away with it. Now, he's back again. He decides to toilet paper the offices. Oh, what a little stinker he is. Sun might have to change his name to Xiǎo xiǎoguǐ, which means "little imp."

We knew this day would come. Ning Shui not only gets caught in school, he gets busted too. And who should be waiting for him when he gets home but his mother. I bet this made Sun's day when the cops marched her son up to the door.
She sure yelled too. I imagine it would have gone down like this.
Sun: "I cannot believe you, Ning Shui! I just can't believe you! Wǒ zuò zài jiāli, shìtú zhàogù yīng'ér, zhè shì wǒ dédào de láidiàn!" (I'm sitting at home, trying to look after a baby, and this is the call I get!)
Ning Shui: "Mom, you know I don't speak Chinese."
Sun: "Nǐ bì zuǐ! You shut up!" At this point, Sun would be pacing back and forth. "Wǒ hé nǐ bàba zài nǎlǐ chū wèntí? Wǒ zhǐshì bù zhīdào gāi zěnme bàn nǐle. Zài wǒ de jiārén, wǒmen cónglái méiyǒu zhèyàng de shìqíng, zài zhèlǐ nǐ qù, gěi wǒ, nǐ de fùqīn, hé dàjiā yì yàng gěi nǐ yīgè bù hǎo de míngzì." Basically, she's asking where she and Daniel went wrong, saying they don't know what to do with him, and that her family never pulled what he does, and he's giving the entire family a bad name.
All the while, Ning Shui is just standing there wondering what she's saying about him. But anyway, to make it short and sweet, he got so grounded.

While Ning Shui's getting chewed out, Min Wei heads out to her job at the spa. She's a receptionist there now.

And Daniel's working on his next commissioned piece of street art. He picked the gym.

And later, Ning Shui managed to make up with Sun. He did enough work around the house to be let off the hook. Not that he really deserved it, but I guess even Ning Shui deserves a chance. Anyway, Adam heads out to the graveyard. Kinda hard to believe that's his career outfit. It's not gym class you know.

Even later, Adam tries his hand at fixing the broken washing machine, and he gets the shock of his life. I bet he went right up to tell Ning Shui about it.
"Hey bro, you gotta try this. It's awesome. I can't feel anything on the right side."

Anyway, the next day, Ning Shui is feeling the urge to cause more trouble. So, what does he do this time, you may ask. He decides to see if he can beat his little sister at martial arts. He finds Min Wei and challenges her to a match. I bet he probably kept hounding her too it, and he's probably thinking he can win too.

After all the hounding, Min Wei relents. Now, where's Sun or Daniel to tell them, "not in the house." Guess they should have gone outside or into Sun's academy first. But they spar right in the living room. Min Wei actually showed him too. Ning Shui never knew what hit him. Now, of course, Min Wei is too proper to actually fight, but he started it.

Ning Shui doesn't let his defeat get him down. He then quickly gets on his podium and starts yelling out his love for Grace. Min Wei can only look on wondering if she doesn't know her own strength since, as you can see, Grace isn't there.

Good question. No, it's not unheard of at all. Some stories actually do that, whether it's a scientific sim telling others that life's just a computer program, or the whole story is written similar to Toy Story. Such Sims stories are often the funniest to read XD
It looks like the Jankowkys will get their caravan home up before the real bad weather sets in and they'll also have over 20000$ in cash.The local graveyard will get some more work done soon and will have openings for jobs.They are still harvesting the garden plants for a while yet and the tall fences are keeping the wildlife out.
Eli and Ami were obviously working hard to get enough money to finish their house and didn't want to take any breaks until the house got done.
Eli bought more framing and drywall for the house with some of the day's earnings.
The Jankowskys were rushing to get to sleep in their sleeping bags after getting home and getting more done on the house before it got too late.
