Why do they make it sound different then? It says on the user manual 'watch movie...comedy, drama, horror etc' - how do those tie in to the usual tv programs?
Can you play home movies on it and charge people to watch them? lol
I was just about to ask the same thing :P
The movies are way too short IMO. I tried to search but didn't come up with anything .. Is there a way to add our own movies? .... Or do something to make them last longer?

There is a way to do it bit it's serious modding.
My Sims & I were tired of watching the same shows all the time so I looked into it.
It turns out to be more effort that it's worth to me right now
You could try the Create forum at MTS for info. Sims 3 Custom TV Channels
Cat, I also read on other posts that people are saying the Sims don't really sit down to watch. They stay standing up. I know you had a concern about wanting Sims to sit and watch.
