    @RememberJoy
Actually 8/12, but still pretty good overall. I've been going by the rule of "first answer" for each wherein one tries to choose two or more. Luckily, this is just a test to iron out whatever kinks I need before the opening of the TS4U test course. Thanks for participating!

I'm usually the one giving the quizzes, so this would have been a change of pace for me. Then, my daughter saw what I was about to do.

"Ooh, a quiz I'd actually enjoy taking. May I?" So, here are Z's answers. I saw some hints about a few of the answers in the thread, but I made sure Z didn't see them.

Z says "Thank you very much! I eliminated one choice and guessed on the mailbox question, and I got lucky on the terrain paint one. I was pretty sure about the others."

I would say both of your statements are true. I'm naturally biased, but Z is a sharp kiddo and she loves to learn. <3 This was a lot of fun, @KyreRoen. Thanks for doing this! We're looking forward to the University course!

10/12 I apparently don’t spend much time on butts in CAS, or in the Hipster Hugger sofa.

    CAS
What are the hair length options in CAS?
    Short, Medium, Long, Updo

How many outfit categories are there?
    8

A sim's butt can be manipulated in what way(s)?
    Size, Height

I struggled with this one a little. Technically you can only grab it from the side to change the size, but if you straighten the Sims' back, it might also raise the butt along with it. I haven't watched that closely to see if this is true, but suspect it might?

What category are mailboxes located in?
    Decor

The 'Hipster Hugger' is what type of furniture?
    Couch

Not sure about this one. I rarely look at the names of objects, I just use the ones I like. But judging by the name, I'd say it would be a couch for hugging/snuggling purposes?

Terrain paints cost how much per tile?
    0 simoleons

Okay, now I look at the answer key to see how I did... Only two wrong, not bad I guess.
I should've went with my first instincts with the butt question. Mailboxes are in appliances? That is so odd! No wonder I can never find them unless I do a specific search.

Interesting quiz, thanks for posting this, it was fun to try it out. :)

My pleasure, and I hope the next (with some lessons learnt from this endeavour) will be similarly engaging. Thanks again, and calm seas and fair winds.

I'm glad you liked it, and good job on the score. I'll have to consider whether and how to implement questions regarding objects, honestly. Anyway, thanks for participating!

Thank you for participating in the test quiz for TS4U.
Things I'll be carrying over to the TS4U courses:
    • No trick questions. It's fun to make them, but less fun to take them.
    • Students will not be asked to provide a full sheet of answers, just the ones they got wrong (and the resulting score). Less work, but still satisfies my curiosity, and provides data regarding future tests, Simming Tip topics, etc.
    • I will not be grading students, as they can adequately grade themselves using the provided key. I'm not an actual teacher, so even if one wants to give themself extra chances/answers, that's not my problem. What matters is one learns/confirms something and has fun doing so.
    • Regarding items and language barriers- I've thought about this somewhat extensively, and since nothing [satisfactory] has come to mind, I'll hold off on specific item names for now. I'll still use objects in the course, but in a different way.
    • If you've any feedback or ideas, let me know, even into the official course's release. Sounds all official, but honestly I just like the pretense.
Anyone is welcomed to take this test quiz, even after this point.
Calm seas and fair winds, until next time.

    Here are my answers:

    CAS:
    1: Short, Medium, Long, Updo
2: 8, that is included with hot and cold weathers.

3, A Sim's butt can only be modified in size.

    Live mode:
1: I very rarely collect items, but my prediction is: Minerals, Fossils, Crystals. All the other digsites are in expansions.

2: Trees can be planted in planters, pots and soil, and 3, you can serenade with both instruments.

    World:
1: Both of them have one. 2. This is a trick question. You will never get snow if you don't have Seasons. 3, you must use a tree.

    Build Mode:
1: Located in Appliances. 2: it is a couch. And 3, terrain paints are free.

    Hope I got 'em right!
I am NOT part of anything in EA and I'm just a player. I try my best to answer questions in the Sims forums, and showing info about the Sims, even posting answers and thoughts of feedback! I have been playing the Sims 4 for 2 years.
