Spark'd removal

My game will not allow me to remove a sim I uploaded to a Spark'd Challenge. There isn't even a button to remove the submission - the only buttons visible to click are download and "like". Its really bugging me. Saving the sim to my library and viewing it there rather than in the gallery doesn't change anything either.


I have repaired/updated/reinstalled the game as well as Origin. Before this, I deleted and regenerated the Sims 4 folder. None of this worked. I don't use CC at the moment and I don't need the game's legacy edition, so please don't recommend it. I've also cleared all cache, etc.


I don't know what else to do? I've had this problem since Spark'd was a thing.

Wow, I'm so sorry you're having this problem. I've never taken up the Spark'd Challenge. I take it that once you finish creating a Sim in CAS to place into a world, the game doesn't automatically make a copy to you My Library? Yikes, that's just wrong. I do hope another person who has no knowledge on this subject comes along who can help you out. I get dismayed when I create a thread and get reads, but no responses, which is why I said something. At the very least, I hope it gets sorted out.

The Gallery has a lot of annoying bugs. The Pets filter bug is one of many that I'm waiting for The Sims team to patch. "No Results Found" happens when I select "With Pets". Selecting "No Pets" will do the exact opposite - show only items with pets.

The worst part is - I am not the only one. There are a lot of people with the same issue, which we reported in 2020.

Please fix this. I have reached out to EA support and they cannot fix it for 2 years now.
