Weird bug or broken save?

Hello everyone, I have a save game that I just started yesterday. It got stuck on the loading screen earlier today for about 5-10 minutes. I stupidly decided to put my ps4 into rest mode to see if that'd help somehow. It didn't so I decided to restart the entire console and start the game up again. When I go to play on the household I have, it loads but then sends me right back to picking what residential world I want to play in. Has anyone else encountered this? I am going to see if this happens with other households and if I can visit other lots besides my sims home first.

Update: I think it is a broken save but I don't know much about that stuff. I started my game and loaded up another family and it went smoothly. However anything to do when trying to play my sim doesn't work at all. It just sends me right back to the choose a world screen.
