Hello everyone, thank you all for taking time to visit Britechester After Dark (or BAD, for short).

One line synopsis: In Britechester, 2085, five university students (and a cat) make a living out of helping those who walk the edge between life and death.

In this thread I’ll be posting chapter links and other tidbits. All comments are welcome- especially constructive criticism!

Really liking the screenshots you've taken for the beginning of this one - loving the noir-ish/cyberpunk-ish vibe to them. I like that you keep it succinct but give a lot to go off of as well- nice bit of mystery. I imagine there could be a lot of reasons someone would want to harm someone like Lexi. Jealousy? A fellow celebrity trying to take out the competition maybe? That last screenshot was pretty chilling X_X Enjoying the style of this story though, it almost feels like a movie intro, and I love the angles of the screenshots and the character designs. It'll be interesting to see where things go from here.

It ain't camera angle, that's for sure! I ain't no Peter Jackson I used a height slider mod. Their height different wasn't that extreme, but I wanted to exaggerate it for the shot, so I set it to min and max. After the shot they went back to their usual heights
As for the title... it definitely is!

While I'm on the topic of screenshots. That rooftop is screenshot he*l. H E * L I tell you!

I've just read Chapter 1 : D

Your screenshots are always just... *chef's kiss* Sad that Zeke had to lose his job just because he was trying to help a girl out, but I really like the mysterious edge she has with the well trained raven. The intrigue in this story is great. I really love how you give everyone a different voice in the dialogue in the second half as well, I love the variety of personalities in the group.

I really love how you show the sort of false ‘seedy’ nature of celebrity life in the description of the house alone, it’s kinda eerie sounding. Once again awesome screenshots! Liking the cliffhanger ending there

Thanks! Though to be honest, the house descriptions wrote themselves- bathrooms with floor to ceiling windows and a transparent door?? EA has outdone themselves this time... Glad you like the screenshots, the interior was so drab I was worried the pics might be too
