I’m ready for a big world, how many of you are ready for one? There are so many things I want to put in my towns ( community lots ) and just don’t have the room. People make such great lots in the gallery. I play a main rotational save where I have a lot of people who know each other. I want room to put several community lots in each world. Take Mt. Komorabi for instance, unless I remove all the premades there just isn’t enough room to have all the community lots I want, but I want to leave the premade’s there. Yet, I want room for a bar, a karaoke bar, a spa, a bigger park, a gym, a library, a community space, and maybe an arts center I don’t even have room for the community space lots in many of my worlds, or much room to add a variety of rentals, my sims who have varying amounts of money they spend on vacation rentals. Please sims team, give us another big world, and maybe some amusement parks or zoo’s to visit. And I really want hotels and casino stuff, and how about a cruise vacation with say, entertainers.

Because I can't; I keep all sigs turned off.
there is way too many fx buildings compared to amount of lots and the lots are not even next to each other so you could make area of your own
they are just scattered to most random places on map
and the world theme is interesting
and maybe if we want versatile world itd be nice to cut down on the fx buildings in general so players can really choose world theme for themselves and not feel like its always mismatch
the world/map surrounding the lots does not have to be all that big though
in short: world size isnt the problem
even the lot count isnt that much of a problem to me
its the lot placement
and ghost towns made by fx houses of boredom

Sea may rise, sky may fall, My love will never die..
My heart, my heart, My drowning heart, Oh all the tears I've cried
Oh I may weep forevermore, My love will never die..
Same.
I very much agree to this.
I’d love a couple of smaller, empty worlds before a huge big themed EP World. I’d be quite happy with the latter, but an empty world is what my sims need.
For every base game World they could offer us a World without roads and man-Made structures. I wouldn’t mind if it’s 50% the size of the original world:
- A Swampy area for Willow Creek. (Swamp houses and fog please).
- A dusty desert for Oasis Springs.
- For Newcrest they could offer us a woods with a river or stream running through it, like Granite Falls.
These worlds should all have swimmable bodies of water and sure, dirt tracks for Routing, just no perfect looking tarmac roads.Speaking of worlds like Granite Falls and Selvadorada...they’re gorgeous and they make me a little sad because my sim can’t live there. I don’t want to use a mod for that. I don’t want to go on a holiday. I want my sims to live in an old shack in the woods or the jungle. And I want to choose who their neighbors are.
I’m not sure if we’ll see anything as big as Windenburg in the future. Apparently big worlds cause performance issues because many simmers still run this game on a retro washing machine.
More lots, including a nice 64x64. Fewer fake houses. More swimmable bodies of water and lots that can be build half-way or even in the water.
We just need a bit more variation and the ability to customize.
Yes, all of it. I'm ready for this too. It would be so nice to build my own city including apartments and houses several shops and workplaces, fun activity location, sports locations, party locations, music and film theatres, official buildings for administration, public trainstations and so on. All together in one world.
I built a house based on an existing house floor plan and did what I could make the exterior looks the same (minus the spiral staircase which there is not a real one of those in the game). The problem is that it is a beach house / desert house and there is not a suitable lot in Sulani and it doesn't look "right" in Oasis Springs either. Another problem is that the only lot with the "proper" shape and dimensions is one of the empty lots in Willow Creek and it doesn't fit in well with the rest of the place. (Though I may put it on the lot and redo the exterior a bit to make it fit and re-upload it to the gallery.
There's also not enough 50x50, 40x40, 30x30, etc lots.
Anyways... would love some bigger worlds with more lot "size" and "shape" variance to them.
(I'm been redoing my gallery stuff so bear with me. FYI: I never use CC on my gallery builds. I rarely use MOO.) I am usually more pleased with my room builds than my lot builds.

Ooh! This! I'd love it if we could get copies of the vacation worlds but as residential areas, and maybe with fewer of the static props and a little more emptyish.

We currently have one world like that, and it's Forgotten Hollow, with only a few premade houses that can be changed or replaced, and nothing in the background or the surrounding area dictating how or what you're supposed to build (expect the graveyard surrounding Vlad's mansion and perhaps the general gloominess). Imagine that, but bigger and more generic (atmopshere-wise), with more than one neighbourhood and a mixture of big and small lots. I don't think anyone would say no to that.
Something wicked this way comes!
I don't use MCCC.
I would love some really big worlds with lots of Lots Like, instead of three neighbourhoods in each one, how about 5?
And, yes, we really need some empty ones without fx houses and without roads and cars.
+1
I have around a dozen households scattered across six worlds. Plenty of room.
Oop, there I go again, thinking outside the box.
