My new and improved Showcase thread!
A little insight before you browse. I am what I like to call a casual builder. I'm not quite new, but I'm not on the top level. And while I build help to cope with depression and other things, I am also someone who enjoys making families and seeing legacies grow. So again I'm not quite up to par with some of the very talented people you will find on this site and on Youtube and Twitter.
I'm always looking to improve my building and always welcome tips and tricks!
As a personal aesthetic, I guess, I am not overly fond of what I consider "cluttered" houses, so often my builds will not have the home saturated in decoration. That and I find one can accidentally block routing even with the simplest of setup let alone when one goes bananas on clutter. However, my homes are slowly becoming less vacant, lol.
I am trying to slowly break away from the "block" house look but baby steps, lol. Also not being so worked up about everything having to be symmetrical. Not to mention this weird thing I have about putting trees in the corners of lots. I also like to put bathrooms in the front of houses instead of the traditional back or sides.
But all that aside I hope you all enjoy and thank you for even stopping by just to look in on this crazy little adventure I'm on.

NOTE: I am not savvy with taking pictures and struggle with the camera, so sadly I will be using the stock photos the Gallery offers. Link to my Gallery(Which is a little fudged up as the Gallery randomly stopped sharing all my builds so I had to reshare them so there might be duplicates roaming around)

One of the few older builds I've kept. It's blocky, and she doesn't look that great on the outside, but I'm still fairly pleased with the inside and it holds a special place in my heart so it stays.
Another old build of mine that was deeply inspired by Jungle Adventures. It's a large family home with a laundry room. One of my early builds, still a bit blocky, but I am for sure happy with the interior and backyard of this build.
My first attempt at recreating a background home in the game. This is an older build I attempted to spruce up a little. The backdrop inspiration for this simple build was in Oasis Springs.
I'm really happy with this build. I don't really step into cottage or tudor builds but this turned out nicely!
Another oldie but goodie of mine. This is the start of me playing with shapes and angles to try and make the houses look more interesting.
Another backdrop recreation, this is one from Newcrest!
An older build. I put this massive tree in front of the lot so rip good quality pics.
Modern might not be the best term, but for sure a cute loft (though I am bias lol)
Just as the lot's name implies, lol. A simple inspired home.
Congratulations on your thread being highlighted in this week’s forums highlights thread! That is great!

One of the few(can count on one hand) larger homes I've built. This was done before snowy escape and the introduction of platforms, so I had to improvise lol. It's a lovely spacious four-bedroom home though.
Like my description for this house reads, just a simple slice of Americana.

@easypeaze Thank you so much!
Another small two bedroom home.
A backdrop home from Del Sol Valley. However, because of the size of the home and the available lots in Del Sol, I built it in Oasis Springs instead.
A simple two-bedroom modern home. I don't normally do modern so this was a nice change of pace.
I think even without the advanced skills, though, we can do some pretty decent homes. And you certainly have done.
Edit: Oops, I forgot to say congrats on being highlighted!
