Sim Died But No Grim Reaper Showed Up
I had a Sim accidentally die from overheating. I had him outside standing next to the heat lamp from Dine Out on a hot day trying to fabricate lol. I got the warning that he was overheating so I brought him inside. I upgraded the fireplace to being auto on, and he ended up going inside and standing right by the fireplace (of course smh). So he died from overheating.
However, no Grim Reaper appeared. It was like poof he was just gone, he disappeared, an urn appeared on the floor, and his wife got the sad spouse moodlets. That was it. (Also he totally disappeared from his wife’s family tree, but he was still listed in her relationships panel. Not sure what that’s about.)
I read that SE made adjustments to this particular type of death. I’m wondering if anyone else has had a Sim die by overheating recently and have you all seen the Grim Reaper show up.
